again anet implements an easy to get to easy to acquire object that drops UBER SUPER RARE 1337 items that lose all ther status because everyone and their grandma can get them. Here's a list of objects that drop from this chest....

Crystalline
Dwarven axe
Eternal blade
Stygian reaper
Voltaic spear
Silverwing Recurve Bows
Elemental sword
Zodiacs
Legendary sword
Runic Blade


All items that were worth something and now are quickly eing driven down. when will anet learn they are messing up their own economy? my answer is when it's too late. they wont realize that everything is worthless until a 500 gold is all it takes to buy an ecto and everybody is running around with fissure armor. seriously what pisses me off the most is eternal blades dropping from it. they have been around for what, 1 month? and they were only dropping from 1 source, one source that actully took work to get to. nd now allu have to do is RA with some mindless idiots and a cookie cutter build and BAM u have one of the so called "rarest" weapons in the game. there is no incentive to even do Deep urgoz or UW/FoW clearing anymore besides a little crappy statue in the Hal of monuments.

yeah and u only say that cuz u have already made ur money with ur 20,000 eternal shields for every purpose and ur 12837912873 shadow shields for every purpose, ALL REQ 8!

ummm since when were runics and elementals hard to get? dunno but i've seen req 9 eles selling for under 65k now...... Same with runics dropped from over 200 ectos to 100k+10 for a req 9

plz QQ more anet is trying to give everyone a chance to get these items now and increase the people pvping.

Want rare items? go buy non inscript req 7s and 8s and stfu.

Well this is the way the inscription system was designed, in the sence every skin is worthless. But non insc are still good ^^.

I agree with the above statement in the fact that shit does happen, and people need stop crying over it. The economy was crap before the zaishen chest so it's really not worth it to complain.

Guild Wars was designed around the casual player. Inscriptions were a step forward if you consider the business mantra just as this chest is too.

You might be unhappy but the hundreds or thousands of people with new items to use and sell probably disagree.

I wouldnt call the above listed items "UBER SUPER RARE 1337" actually, go get req7 and 8 tyrian/ canthan non inscribable stuff. Inscribable stuff supposed to be crap and worthless

Also, its good that ANet makes all skins accessible to everyone.

No doubt this kind of thing is pretty bad if you have a stack of ectos. I don't. I suspect the OP does. Bummer, eh.

People are always complaining about these things "ruining the economy", ie you no longer have to do repetitive farming for months to be able to afford to buy something worthwhile. Seems like a good thing to me.

Same with me, my best was a r9 smiting rod. And I've never got any of the above listed items as drops, I'm waiting for the time when I can get voltaic spears to all my casters (as I dont have unlimited money)

Sooner or later every item that still drops will lose value.

You say the economy gets messed up by making rare items less rare, but maybe the economy was messed up in the first place and now it gets straightened out a little

The economy was just hanging on but they just killed it with this stupid completley mindless idea of a chest which they took no thought in adding. There treating it as a single player game now and they dont care. They just want to make money quickly and if they want that they should charge monthly so we can all quit, then there dev team will be better but still utter crap.
