80% or so of the end-game items have crap mods. Sundering and fortitude -- BAH! Why couldn't a-net once, just once, give us vampiric (or elemental or zealous), of-defense greens?
As for the few that have decent mods, the skins usually suck. Boar scepters look like poo on everyone except male necromancers!
Seriously, IMO wayward wands are about the only end-game greens with decent mods and decent skins. (And, so, of course, the resto wand that I might actually use requires spawning power... ARG!!!)

Ogre-Slaying Knife, I must say, is the best and most popular end game green out there. Seriously, how can it not be? Ogre's are everywhere. Caves, under bridges, acting as Peeping-Tom's in your closet. They...are....every...where.

Shiro's Blades (daggers) just sparkle to me. Especially since only Assassin's can use them effectively, since they have a high req, so it's like an Assassin only weapon. It's nice.
The Forgotten Axe, though small is still nice.

I personally love the Forgotten Sword skin. Don't much care for the stats, and I don't own one myself, but my wife does, and it looks great with Ancient's armor.
Still, I'd have to say my favorite end-game green of all time is the Ironwing Longbow/Flatbow. I worship the skills of the player who drew that, and the modelers who implemented it.
