Chest of the Vanquisher

Idea 1. Add a chest that spawns when you successfully vanquish an area. Items that spawn are continent/area specific skins (no inscriptions) for Tyrian skins) or rare crafting materials. You can only get the chest when you first vanquish the area (so that people wouldn't chest farm the smaller areas.
Idea 2. Add a chest that spawns at the end of the last area vanquished on each continent with a spawn of the rarer items (no crafting materials, just rare skins and minipets like the Ghostly, Gwem, etc.) in the game. That way, if everybody wanted a guaranteed drop of something rare, they'd have to put in the time spent vanquishing areas.
Of course, I am not asking for both of these reward types be implemented, just posting 2 options so the public (or hopefully) Anet chooses one or the other.
One other note, chest spawns would be specific and your party would get the yellow ping on the mini map leading you to it's location, just like you would when you complete a dungeon in EotN.

The game needs more variety in rewards other than a title. This is a good idea. But do you intend this to be once per vanquished area? Or do you intend it to be repeatable? (You can keep vanquishing the same area for the chest.)

I also agree the current rewards for vanquishing arent enough.
However I dont think a one off reward is the way to do it. Thats already inplace with the vanquishing title.
The problem is once people have done it, most dont come back. To counter that in someway you need to either
Improve it.
OR
Add more shiny for those who are into that.

/notsigned for chest to finish everything. Between 15-54 chests and all the drops you earn in between, I think you'll have enough rare junk floating around.

Yeah, I was thinking about where it would spawn. I was under the assumption "Right in front of you, as if by magic!" but... It's not gonna be that simple.

/signed That would be fun. I'd like it to be repeatable, I don't think a gold for killing 200-odd critters is going to break anything. Plus it would be nice to have a treat for helping friends vanquish something.

Lol, ok how about this. Each point has a specific point where the chest spawns. When you get the last kill, you just get the yellow ping on your map that leads you to it like when you complete a dungeon.

Whichever is added, I don't mind either way. My main recently finished Tyrian Vanquisher, and I'd do them all again with other characters if the reward was more substantial, like this suggestion is suggesting.

I think the chest should be every time you clear an area, and the odds of a rare drop from the chest is dependent on the number of enemies you killed.

I agree if you are planning on on putting the chests in every area you vanquish, the rewards you reap should be proportional to the amount of work you did in the area just like the end reward you already recieve. It sounds like a simple and inviting idea I like it.
However no "End-Chest" due to the fact of the amount of rewards you have already recieved from the 80+ chests you have previously opened.

The gold awarded for vanquishing is very poor, so i think something like this could motivate more people.

How about if a nice big chest appeared in HoM after you had finished vanquishing a continent and you would get something really special from it? That way all the people who have already vanquished the areas could get a reward for their effort too and it would motivate people to vanquish all the areas, not just the easy ones.

I also think vanquishing should be more rewarding - me and my friends we got everything done even before gold-per-creature-killed "reward" was increased, when it was a joke that after 2-3h of heavy fights we were getting some 1,x plat.
Instead of vanquisher's chest, however, I'd rather prefer to have merchant discounts - i don't understand why ppl who play AB in factions can buy lockpicks @ 1,2k and i, who saved all the continents have to pay merchants regular fees?
