I'm not intrigued by something so much that it's pretty but interesting. Take the tree in Drakker Lake for example. THAT I love, it reminds me of Zelda for some reason.
But aside from that, there just hasn't been too much "interesting" stuff. Sure it looks pretty, but not intriguing. Just me talking, though.
do you take the time to appreciate the graphics?

Here's one guy hoping they don't go too crazy for GW2 because I'm plenty happy with the graphics already.
So, yes, I do spend a lot of time admiring the graphics because there's a lot of good design work in this game.

Torment Realm areas of nf look kinda cool.
EotN definitely looks the best when it comes to graphics.....sucks that pretty much every dungeon has reskin rooms. If I remember right, anet was supposed to update the graphics for older campaigns....i doubt that'll ever happen though.
that's true

I'm not particularly amazed with guild wars graphics engine, apart from the capes and shadows working on low end systems (how on earth they did that I don't know), however I think they have a group of really strong artists working on level design. The levels can look very detailed and unique for an engine that, as far as I can tell doesn't use high-res polys, displacement mapping and all that jazz. They made magic out of mud.
