To bad this info leaked out when there is only hours left to go. Not to mention the crummy drop rate of it since the 1st reported one showed up on the last day.

Dag nabbit! And I was complaining to friends on how these new quests were challenging but the reward didn't make it worth it after a few dozen times *eats words* =/

On the bright side, ignorance was bliss -- I spent very enjoyable holidays with family and friends, instead of farming for this 24/7 haha.

yeah if only on the last day someone got this and its been in the chest the whole time.....much more rare than the panda....great job anet (sacrasm).

I think this whole idea of super rare stuff is utter trash. Why ruin a game with an item that only 1 person can have??????

(and I have done that run many times this week for the cc shards and havent gotten anything good from it either)

well that just about says it all......wintersday 2007 gets a C- in my book. (and only a C because they did include most of the stuff from previous years-quests, collectors, etc, and that they sortof fixed the grenths in la).

Since when did minis ever ruin the game? They don't even affect the game, let alone negatively or positively and ACTIVELY change the state of the game. They are collectors items...

Nah Ultra rare stuff is great, I just wish we all had a chance to get at it but thats the way the cookie crumbles. PLus they said it was very likely there was more out there than 1 as well.

After finishing every mission with multiple chars in normal & hard mode. Getting rare stuff in game is the only thing people will go for. Either that or Leave the game. So yeah I am like other people bumped out.
They could have at least shown a picture of the mini on the main page, and keep people in the dark on how to get it. After all the lag, and rollbacks on this event, this is another FAIL IMO.

Uhm? How does that "ruin the game". Quit bitchin because you didn't get one, at least TRY HARDER like me. On my 19th run and I didn't get any, but I'm still optimistic. If you had 5 stacks of ectos would you want to just look at them or USE them on a cute fuzzy teddy-like polar bear? Exactly.

THAT is what ruins the game. But I am in a very tiny miniority that thinks that everyone should have an equal chance to get things be they minis, swords, etc.....many items ingame are totally out of the hands of most casual gamers, now we can add yet another item to that list.

and sickle I am not "bitchin" because I didnt get one, I really dont care....it just makes this game less fun--more 'gotta have it' mentality than 'lets play the game' (and I dont have ecto either, no use for it really).... I play the game to play it not to become some super rich person, if thats your goal in this game, I feel sorry for you, but whatever. I like to play the game---eg, do quests, do missions, finish chapters...I am not here to see how much junk I can amass! But I think that ALL things should be obtainable by EVERYONE in the game not just the rich....
