How did you guys first die? This thread is mostly for LS[Legendary Survivor] but anyone can post, I'd figure only LDs would remember best since well... well we don't die often...

My Sin LS I sacrificed to Glint in Dragons Lair.
My Derv that was going for LS died at just over 1mill xp when my games client crashed for no reason. Not sure whether to remake him or not.
My first ever GW death was probably to the Grawl in Pre a long time ago. Or it could have been the Lvl 4 Skale.

I just died a few minutes back...I suddenly dislike Polymock....
Oh well it doesn’t really matter, sicne I already had LS 1.6mill exp, I just wanted to see how long I lasted.
Yesterday I saved a young Paragon going for Survivor [she had r1] when she rushed in to rez a dead member and her client crashed, lucky her...[the irony in those two words is just too much]

After getting LS the lame way, dwarven boxing, I went to complete missions in PvE (Tyria). I died in Bloodstone fen I think, during a massive Anet-Spike... This shows to proof that LS is more a matter of luck that anyone else. Sadly enough, I didn't even get to see myself die :'(

I wish Anet would fix disfunctional Minigames, *cough like Polymock cough*, which say they don't kill you but do, a second ago I almost died again do to Polymock Savannah Heat..

I think the first time I died was when I didn't know wtf that circle around me on my radar was, and I ran into a pack of skale outside Fort Ranik...Or I died of degen in the evil water in the Catacombs.
EDIT: Oh, btw, I always use a character that's died a million times before I do a mini-game or BMP or something potentially harzardous. That way I have some idea whether or not it's going to raise my death score. (/death

I'd have to say from the Grawl in Trouble in the Woods, though it's completely possible that I may have died before then.
I remember when the quest updated while I was dead, I thought it was a "quest failed" message but I guess Devona actually managed to kill the rest of them. Not bad considering I only killed like 2 of them.
When I first made my warrior I died from Frenzy/Heal sig a lot because I didn't know just how bad -40 armor was. I even did it in the ascalon arenas and always wondered how I kept dying.

The first time I died on my first character was in Pre-searing. It was in the pond near the quest Trouble in the Woods.
I had taken out the normal skales and broodcallers easily enough. Then, at the back of the cave, there was a monster (River Skale Brood, or something like that) which managed to kill me in a matter of seconds.

lolz i remember in AB there was this person that only needed 5k more exp till LS so they were leeching staying in the base but they didnt realize that they were in longbow range so this ranger came and they started chatting biefley so he used burning arrow ( he had poision tip signet on him) and he shot her followed by a savage shot and she died of degen. pitty she had no self heals LMAOROFLQXZLOL
edit: it was funny how she was too stupid to log out, she just sat there screaming "OMG IM DYING I ONLY NEED 5K TILL LEGENDARY SURVIVOR!" and then died and i laughed so hard

I made about 3 attempts at legendary survivor total, dervish went capping, got about 400k experience. Then lagged and died. Made a paragon, got about 300k exp and realized I didn't like the look (also died) remade. Third time I got it.
Less than 2 minutes later I go to guildhall do a scrimmage with my girlfriend and she uses her low level pet to bleed my paragon to death while I enjoyed knowing it was finally over.

first death....seems to me I lasted a bit longer than the rest of ya, but then again I was playing with my husband (and it was his second character so he had done it all before) with his warrior....so I think it was probably the worm queen with all her little minions spiting me to death as well. And then I got upset because I thought I would have to remake my character (gw was my first online game...noob to the nth degree I was)...glad when we both rezzed at the shrine.

- Dervish: outside Eredon terrace. Cleared it with another account, went to skill cap, lag spike/oni spawn.
- Necro: Jade Brotherhood/2 hero-smiteway... also not lag proof
- Mesmer: death pact signet mistake...
- Assassin: Why not try AB at r2? PvE/PvP mistake on my part :P
so just got a run to lutgardis and got r3 on nec

i had a crap comp and could not play so while i waited i played on my friends comp and his account.
i had created a ranger and thought that if i died i would not come back to life so i was very careful and made it all the way to yaks this way(took me forever i loved the scenery). well i was playing my friend was in the bathroom and a pack of stone summit(those bastards) came and killed my ranger i died and thought i was dead forever so i logged out deleted the char and made a warrior : P
