No mention of this on the GW Xfire boards, because they are all noobs there. I don't venture to any forums past Xfire Clans & Guilds section because the stupidity levels rise to dangerous.

On another word, no release date yet, as I am still working on the GUI. Also trying to hammer out some other problem, which I probably could have avoided if I did it the exact proper way the first time.

This is awesome.

If and when this goes public, i'll have my guild use it. It will be nice knowing where everyone is and what build they're using.

How does it read the info, is it from the network or read from memory? A few ideas for more stats:

Energy, Health, Attributes, HM/NM, Active Quest/Mission....then later on, Armor/Weapon etc etc. I'm also EXTREMELY interested in the active signature idea. That would be awesome if all the info displayed in xfire could be displayed in near-realtime in my signature.

I don't really want to display any more info that you see in the pic, in Xfire, as I don't think its neccesarry to have to show Attributes and Health and stuff, primarily because the point was not intended to show the build, more than showcase the character.

However, I can potentially retrieve the information for use in sigs.

BTW Gamma is working on something to address the PvP concerns over specific competitive builds... Its will either be an option switch to turn that aspect off at will, Or it will detect a PvP character and not display the skill template build of the character.

This will protect competition PvP situations where the user is using xfire, and a competitor could take a peak at their skill bar from xfire to get an unfair advantage by planning counters before play starts.

I relayed that concern from a recent online chat on this subject to Gamma. Who is a part of our gaming clan...

This project has been a long time coming. and it has had a lot of setback in development. But ultimately it is a topnotch addon for a respected 3rd party program. Xfire is as accepted today as Teamspeak or Vent is for gameplay. That reputation says a lot... Gamma is working at Xfire and with his Xfire plus addon page continually... Hazteam is nothing but proud of his accomplishments, and this will be one of his greatest addons if all goes as planned.

Yea, I can onyl agree with you on that ingram, Xfire is the main tool we use to contact friends and clanmates (about 400 on my friendslists atm and it keeps on growing). Plus, dont froget you can custom sort yoru friendslist aswell

I haven't seen this in any of the screens, but what about people who have the Hero title and have a max balthazar faction of over 10k? Is that accounted for in this mod?

Ok an update. Vaitel has been working with me to help get the program portion of it, finished faster. We now have an update system in place, that will download an update if one is available (this is a backup system, as the program should be able to create its own updates).

@Turgon Lei Kung: Yes, it does take into account faction over 10k. I thought I had a screenshot up, but I guess not.

Still no luck on adding title, so that is on hold for now. I added to show what country (America, Europe, Asia, and International), but haven't been able to add what language, for now. I am rewriting the way it handles the skills, as if you had a hero window open, it would show those instead.

Some things I may not get to until after release: potentially the language district displayed, all skills may not be added or pictures may not be available, all locations may not be added.

I will try to set up a system for people to submit skill names and location names, for those that are missing or incorrect. (I have place holder text for those that are missing).

Hopefully a beta release will be coming soon. Stay tuned

What always happens to these things is that news stops getting released and then the thread gets burried and the project gets abandoned.

If your not working on it, release it already

Well that makes sense! If I release it without working on it, it won't do anything...

Anyways, the program portion is getting a rehaul to simplify the update process. Hopefully this week I can get a version out to beta testers.

@crystalklear64: yes, I agree, but I kept forgetting to add it. It will display them with commas.

Also, skill information will not show up with you are on a PvP character.

Gamma has quite a bit going on. Its slow going yes, but will come.

He is working with Xfire-plus programs across the board,
He is now also a council member and administrator of our gaming clan,
And Of course has his work and school to contend with. ;P

But this will happen. its not buried... He has been working on this on and off now for almost 2 years... This version is much more user friendly, and does more then EVER I thought he could manage without Anets direct influence. (Which went unanswered btw when asked for help). So this is all him at this point... With some friends helping him out with getting memory locations and code Development.

Basically I was thinking about making a program that just dumped chat to a text file for making chat logs, but I have no clue if it's possible let alone how I would go about doing it.

Yes/No. I experimented before with trying to retrieve the stuff and it is semi-possible, but I have no plans on doing it right now. However, I know that alot of people would like something to do this, so I guess it would be something that I would eventually do sometime in the near future.
