a little bit of history:
the original shove assassin showed up just prior to NF release. we didn't have falling lotus strike back then, and the build instead used golden phoenix strike as the second offhand, and triggered off either way of the fox or shadow refuge. it was actually the first "instagib" assassin build ever existed. however, it never went beyond random arenas because it was very one dimensional. in the right hands, it was pretty deadly.
now with the decline of SP sins, i believe this build is now the "best" assassin build available. it does almost as much damage as an SP sin, but have more utility and self healing. not to mention, this build allows you to run HP armor instead of energy, and the 9 in tactics allows you to use a shield to it's full armor.
in conclusion: i nominate this build as the "best" assassin build current available, and suggest all other builds be measured from this one.

Now I can't be sure of this of course, but i kinda doubt it was the very first instagib sin. as I'm quite sure there would have been someone bold enough to have used a 5-chain to spike.
although it may have been the first "Official" instagib build available.

This is my KD piss people off build it works amazingly well in lower areas and is very good at pissing off monks.
Basicly just go from left to right or try to interupt, though its a little harder with the kds to do it, just keep them knocked down and follow up Iron Palm with holy strike and asp with soulstone. it makes short work of most people if you use the enduring build it puts out 9 degen as well.
Its funny this build is a pile of shitty skills put together that works in really low end PvP AB and RA but its always great for pissing people off.
I tried this build after jokingly posting something close to in an other topic about using the 2 touch smiting skills. I tried it out for kicks and to see what would actually happen. Many pissed off people later I think the build works pretty well. Doesn't do shit for dmg but all that KD is bound to annoy someone and if your group is not full of idiots you can lockdown a monk for a brief period of time and do dmg to him allowing your group to kill him or others. No matter how protted he is

Kosh, please stfu as you have nothing constructive to say.
Agreed people saying "I made this build", but if you call instigibs Griefing, blame the designers of 'Sins, INSTIGIB IS PRETTY MUCH THE ONLY SIN BUILD APART FROM MOEBIUS/OTHER CLASS'S WEAPONS.
Shove sin scores kills, correct - 12345678 combo - correct, but then people find it fun.
I like the build because it has 3 extra slots to spare.
BTW - "u" give a bad name to literacy, and your flame is completely stupid.
If your going to be a jerkoff, do it somewhere else.
Not to mention sins are EXTREMELY easy to counter.

Agreed. The lack of Expose is something I find hard to come to grips with. Also, considering sins get to use Iron Palm, Shove has a hard time being worth it IMO.

yay good old blance pvp game. oh RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing joy.

Kosh, you really aren't being very constructive...
In my opinion you're just flaming because you hate the class.
Either because you suck too much to stop spikes or you get killed by them for not bringing defense...
Sin's WERE broken to begin with, and since the instigib idea was complete junk sins turned out like this - i still think they are quite fun to play but in low-level pvp.
Seriously though, Kosh, if you're opinions are so strong why don't you just make a thread about it instead of sending this one to hell?

and i'm sure nobody said anything about pvp balance. this is a build to run around AB, spike people down, laugh at them as your dual KD's kill whatever skills they are trying to use in response, and /rank their corpses and /dance. it also happens to be a very powerful build in the right hands, potentially more powerful than the SP sins and assacasters. if you can't see it, then i'm not going to waste time spoon-feeding you.
and just so you know, i'm one of the first people to successfully play the assassin pre-NF, in both pve and pvp. if you search through the forums, you'll find that i wrote the first definitive guide on playing sins (now extremely outdated and rather poorly written, but i wrote it). i know more than i really want to know about assassins, so it stands to reason that whatever i find to be effective, it really IS effective.
of course, you can just disregard whatever i have to say and insult me and my guild some more. your choice.

I was taught by someone in my guild about that and learned how to play sins well long before NF.

The analogy between Shove and Iron Palm is evident. While the Shove build enables HealSig, SP-Iron Palm allows for an IAS. Deadly Arts can be boosted to 11 assuming accepted runing, and basically allows for the same spike but with higher attack speed.
I went
Shadow Prison {E}
Iron Palm
Tiger Stance
Falling Lotus Strike
Twisting Fangs
Black Spider Strike (SP lasts 8 sec @ DA11. no prob.)
Blades of Steel
Dash - or- Resurrection Signet
Can't deny the power of Blades of Steel, nor of an IAS. Of course the same attacks as in the Shove build could be fitted, but the Shove spike's strength pales to this one's.
You wanted an SP comparison, here it is! ShunGokuSatsu!

the real strength of the shove assassin is the frontloaded, CONTINUOUS dual knockdowns. because shove does not have an aftercast, hoto hits just as the target stands up, which means that the target can't do anything for 4 whole seconds. in fact, the shove assassin's KDs fly through so quickly, that under the 25% IAS from battlecry, the SECOND hit of hoto KDs, not the first. with a 33% IAS, hoto won't KD at all because the target won't have stood up yet (which is why the shove assassin does not have an IAS).
the benefit of a essentially 4 second KD cannot be taken lightly. it means that the build will instantly gain a jump on anything out there and does not give the target a chance to respond. even if the target does not die immediately, the combined degen will quickly finish it off while the shove assassin runs off. essentially if played right, the target CANNOT respond.

Healing sig works wonders... just don't activate it while you're taking damage or in AoE's. It hurts. A lot.
The tactics also lets me carry around a tactics shield =D With the +16 armor/+26 vs type. It's nice.

Yeah, and I was the best warrior. Ever.
How can you even say that you were one of the most successful players of the assassin pre-NF, in both pve pvp? Because you wrote the first "definitive" guide on playing sins..
Bad players write guides too..
Doesn't mean you're good
Furthermore, what you say isn't 'great' just because you say it is.
