Both agreed, especially on the gear part. It takes all the epic out of a green knowing that it's no better than your average merchant-crafted weapon.

My best guess would be no PvE skills (there's no such thing as PvP skills) so I don't see why PvE should have. Also no more skills linked to Titles its a very bad idea.

I agree PvE skills were a mistake, but I don't think your reason is very good. Seriously, PvP only skills would be rediculous. PvE skills were meant to helpful and fun in PvE, such as light of deldrimor(no need for that in PvP). They don't have to be unbalanced like A-net made them, just make them unique to the PvE environment!

You'd think they'd be awesome, given who they're wielded by. But nay, I'd rather get banned (permenantly this time) than use Shiro's sword.

I don't want to see them take out grind in fact want to see more of it.

I don't want to see noobs with elite gear so don't want to see skills like Ursan Blessing which make playing in elite areas like playing in any other area.

I don't want to see elitist pvpers, so, take out organized pvp system of HA and implement random like RA, FA and AB.

I don't want to see loot drops stiffled just because I play in normal mode or by myself solo. If I can solo mobs it takes 8 other people to kill then I want 8 drops in normal mode and hard mode. But then again I don't want to see soloing to be so easy like it is now.

I don't want to see the possiblity to make 55 monks or other rediculous builds to exploit the mechanics of the game. Have a max amount of superior runes one can equip, same with majors or find another way to penalize players for using superior runes as in you lose one skill slot per superior rune you use instead of their hit points and one skill slot for every two major runes you use.

I don't want to see heroes taken out of the game.

I don't like the companion system whereby someone who's like level 1 or 2 can play with the big boys anywhere on the map in the game. People need to earn their right to play in these areas not just be ported to them and play like they earned it.

I don't want to see emotes for rank anymore for anything. I get tired of seeing kids spam their emotes over an over an over during play.

I don't want to see what was a rare item all of a sudden start dropping out of one chest that everyone can use like it was some newbie chest in pre-searing. The Zashiens chest has to go.

I don't want to see pvp linked to pve in any fashion so no pve skills will be changed just because someone whined in pvp that some skill was overpowered or underpowered.

I don't want to see the game made so people can run through the content to get to the good items/armor. (Like the Droks run). Keep the need to build up faction to be able to buy armor and even weaponsmiths equipment. Don't allow anyone to rush the content or get ahead of others that played the right way.

I don't want to see anyone under 13 playing so find a way to ID everyone who plays so those less than 13 can't play. Make EVERYONE take an IQ test to be able to play. If you're too dumb to pass an IQ test then you're too dumb to be playing.

I don't want to see armor only buyable again, I want it to drop and all different kinds, but, would like to see SETS like in Diablo 2 whereby if you get a complete set of something you get an added bonus of something.

I think that's all I don't want right now.

Remember what you advertised on he original GW box? That all areas were instanced to prevent spawn killing, overcrowding, etc
That was the origiional game, this is going to be GW2 so it will be different a LOT different and there's already going to be persistant gameplay so you might just as well get used to it or just not play it. It's coming and I'm going to enjoy it.

I agree with what someone said earlier, I want less reliance on monks and healing.

I don't want silly things like 55ing possible. It's dumb. I don't have any problem with farming, but 55 is just silly. Granted, my 55/ss necro made getting my second elite armor set much easier. But it feels like much less of an accomplishment to just 55 for a week compared to my first set for my ranger which was earned through clearing areas and tombs the old fashioned way. The way the game was designed. With a team.
If gw2 is geared more towards solo play, that's fine, but all classes would be equally soloable then instead of using some ridiculous skill combo like now.

Anything that has over 8 hours of content is online, via subscription or RMT. Casual players buy game once, and nothing more - they make the numbers. Core gamers buy everything there is, and play for months and years - they make the money.

Future predictions for GW: lots of eye candy for casuals, free access. Core game is about long-term involvement (grind), social aspects (raids, trade) and RMT gimmicks (buy trinkets and shinies in online store).

Overall, nothing too unexpected, given overall GW experience.

And yes, this means that single-player aspects on PC are doomed, and that hard-core aspects are being funneled into RMT and time-based rewards. For publishers, time spent equals big money.
You have a few gaps, what about games like Oblivion or Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Those both are well over 8 hours, and are a single player experience. Not to mention I see what you mean by non-MMO PC gaming being dead and gone.. But please thats an extreme. Theres still plenty of games in the PC gamer's market to choose from, and put quite frankly, RTS's are only right on PC's. Controllers just dumb them down.

I don't want to see gw 2 at all. I am completely satisfied with my copy of gw.
You may see me frequently flame the hell out of the game developers. It's a love hate relationship. My opinion stands that gw is the end all be all of any game ever.

No need for a skill like ursan, i love it because its not nerfed up, but hate it because im forced to use it.
Honestly, HM is a kick in the *. Takes 8 people or 4 ursan to pull it off (with consumables).

1. A max level that takes about 6 months to max.

2. Grind titles.

3. A "You have to grind for x amount of time before you can PVP/PVE/PVWhatever at a comparible level."

4. Anything that "says" Time > Skill.

Resign turned into an actual skill, and given variations.

So that we can actually write resign builds, and form resign teams.

I don't want to see the games separated even though I know they will be. I wanted to carry all my accomplishments over but I can't which is why I will probably stay playing GW.

lol this is the steroytypical statement that many pvp'ers think pve'ers hold. glad to see it at least hold some validity. bolded statement is especially lulz worthy.

hm isnt hard for the most part. u can h/h 90% of missions byurself without consumables. jsut takes good tanking and aggroing ability.

to have fun over LONGER time with my character in kind of developing it, than 1 day ...
---------------------------

Theres no fun and enjoy in a game, when you get done and seen everything around your character development within 1 day ... theres absolutely no long term motivation in it...

But when you have to train your character to Level 100 and it takes like a month or 2 to reach that level by normal playing the game, the game being balanced, that you reach that level by normal playing first at the end of the story...then the game has a good core long term motivation, which ISN'T based of grinding to reach quicker the max level.

No, than the player has finally the CHOICE, if you want grind for quicker levels, or not.
About the "OMG..my friend is much stronger than me, cause he plays more than me-Problem"

When that guy is really a friend of you, than he/she will help you leveling up also quicker, by tanking you at for you stronger monsters.
problem solved..and when u have no friend..get a guild ...and then you go on a raid with them against some epic creatures which need strong parties, to get them killed to level up quicker...

god, there are so much ways to solve this silly problem.
level cap of 100 will come and that won't be changed, you heard what the devs said in their interviews, they self find, that the level cap of gw1 is too low

Stop whining and simple don't buy GW2, when you have no faith in Anet ...

I forgot to mention earlier, I don't want to see it where if I pick a certain profession as my main then it suddenly becomes very hard for me to explore certain areas in a team.

Areas like Domain of Anguish and Slavers Exiles are examples of this and even if it is due to the community, that's no excuse for it. Most players are not good at micro managing their heroes, we shouldn't have to be for just "elite" areas.

Also, with GW 1, I was sick and tired of seeing my main character's profession (ritualist) used by other people more often as a secondary (N/Rt, etc.) than a primary. I put a lot of hours into my primary, I shouldn't have to second guess my self if I made the right choice or not.

I dont want people who have no skill, no experience, and game knowledge to be able to make it to the far areas of the game.

in other words: Make it so a player needs to know how to play to make it to the end. There needs to be a challenge that cant be bypassed by having someone drag you along.

I dont wanna see level 1s, or total noobs in the last mission areas.
