Bought my first 15k set, and dye for it. I believe it was my 15k Ice Forged that I later salvaged when I got my Vabbian set. Of course I also got my first set of comphahensive runes. All 100k sets later I purchased more armour, or the occasional weapon, or more dye, or more materials both rare and common, and of course more lovely runes.

I didn't buy any 15K armor until my Mesmer got Elite Canthan at the end of Factions. It was so disappointing that the armor had a serious clipping issue when used with Courtly hose.
