my favorite fighting style has to be Minion Mastering. not the most cerebral style to be sure, but nothing beats that sense of power and that little maniacal grin I get when I see my horde of cute lil undead tearing the enemy to bloody ribbons.
as for my favorite overall class has to be the rit, can do just about anything with them :-)

In PvE I really enjoy monking, that is- avoiding the fight and keeping people alive.
For PvP I've been pretty true to playing sins. Look for a victim, go in, kill, retreat, rinse and repeat. Sometimes you get lucky and the other team keeps ressing the guy you killed, so you can make them blow all their sigs real quick in RA/TA.

awsume!i think that is great
Kusandaa
Anything on the offensive; curse or death necro, nuking builds, scythe dervish, spearchucker, assassin stuff... at a lesser extend interrupt ranger builds and such. I like monking, but I have a tendency of protting myself and rushing in a group when the melees aren't fast enough.
Animalistic Lust
i prefer to be a caster, specifically a necro using ss or foc and watching the opposition wither away
Jumping Is Uselss
My style in Pve: C + Spacebar.
Thorondor Port
Pve - front line warrior
(have a ranger too but dont use often)
Pvp - backline, some midlines.

pumpkin pie
I corner mob and nuke them with meteor (ele) or spiteful spirit + mark of pain them to death.
R2d2
I like to prep the battlefield with Pain Inverter and my go-go gadget Assassin support. Then my Sab necros or my paragon crew go to town while I hack away with my axe and place Assassin's Promise on a soon-to-be-dead enemy so that I have dual assassins supporting my team.
InsaneG
Interrupting. With ranger or mesmer. It doesn't matter. Luv it.
Dorvan919
The guy who takes all the dmg and doesnt die...and who gets all the front line action for me dervish is my favourite. yeah MELEE!!
maraxusofk
for pvp or pve?
i play mainly war in pve and pvp, but ill do alot more midline support for pvp, whereas casters bore me in pve.

Up close and personal for me
Squishy ftw
Up close and personal alright.
I'll be the first to enter the fight and the last one to leave it.
PvE: Rushing in with splinter on me owning some serious face.
PvP: [skill]backbreaker[/skill]

Tough i play monk almost exclusively, i use her to melee and nuke a lot in PvE thanks to the awesomeness of PvE skills.

Needless to say, I am ONE SEXY BEAST!
Anyway, I like the long range, strategical fighting. Winning with brute force only proves I'm stronger. Winning with strategy proves I'm better.
Olim Chill
^I also prefer a methodical, strategic approach. I like to impose my will on the situation with good positioning and the right skill sequence.
Uber Mass
i like to pull as much foes as possible and after that make sure they dont pass me and kill the mid and backline...
in other words i love to tank... for the rest i like to monk it feels good if you catch a spike

For the longest time my warrior was my main char, sort of in tandem with my nec, but now my nec (curses) is my main and I hardly ever play the warrior. Recently I've come to enjoy my rits and my rangers, so I suppose that makes me an "away from the front lines" kind of guy.
zknifeh
i prefer to kill them before they kill me, thus its a sin
also love to kd with a hammer chain
and slow/interupt casters

Um...... The ultimate style is having no style at all?
I would just go head long into a group of enemies and slash away. If I die, I died a glorious death. If I live, rinse and repeat.

agrios
I have to admit. Im all out for melee.
You can't see me
I love playing characters that allow me to do major harm to the enemy, front or backline. Assassins, Dervishes, Warriors, Elementalists, and Necromancers are my preferred classes.
makosi
I like casting spells more than whacking stuff with a stick. When I first bought the game I thought nobody would ever play Warrior. Why would you want to live in the danger if the front-line and bash things like a primate when you can stand back and cast weird curses, burn and zap stuff?
Naive of me.
Naive of me.
Eldin
I like backline as a Ranger - it was my first class and now I'm crazy about pulling and whatnot. Almost to the point of extreme pissination on the Wammo's part.
I like support too, so long as it is a caster class that does not involve sitting around much (ele with his recharging spells/exhaustion) or contributing heavily (monk).

EternalTempest
Middle/Back lines magic base support.

^No doubt. The only thing better than a strong Warrior is a smart one.
Pleikki
mm I like Play Most As Necro Second most as Monk 3erd as Sin so i like support/cast/melee lol Para and ritu and ele and ranger and war and mesmer Really funaswell! Dervish sucks imo -.-
Sakura Az
Up close and personal with my sin's daggers is what i like best. following that i'm usualy in the mid back with my monk proting, and then somedays i'm midlining with my ranger.
MoldyRiceFrenzy
um... i monk... so uhh...
besides that, i guess i like everything, except mesmer and ranger b/c dlup = i cant interrupt stuff for crap= /rage

Konig Des Todes
I prefer to use attackers, although I do fine with casters *especially necros*. I can easily and clearly say this, I SUCK at supporting >.<
Age
It dpends on what I am playing my Monk wanding things or using my staff,Warrior up front and Ranger mostly at ranged.
