Would you buy other BMP's if they made them?
IlikeGW
No, I wouldn't. There's barely any content in the current BMP (an hours worth of missions, repeatable), and guild wars 1 is dead. what would the point of more be... like digging up a corpse to put a new cheap suit on it every 6 months... maybe GW1 needs a funeral so the last batch of chumps can get over it.
freaky naughty
ten bucks for two hours of new content? Yea right.
dirran
Not after what was done with the BMP marketing.
The Little Viking
Definatly would buy. I love (and needed) a new challange. I love the fact that i can repeat the quessts and its a great way to get some real good weapons for heros. (Even though I am currently working on getting destroyer weapons for the heros I use most).
But a BIG YES I would buy more if they were available.

Yes I would. I don't have a credit/debit card and doubt I ever will so if I could find it in stores I would happily purchase it.
I don't mind that it's 2 hours of content for 10 dollars. Most games I see these days can be completed in a single sitting, and those are 40-60 dollars depending on your platform so 10 dollars is nothing really.

Also, have you ever considered how much you'd be paying for a typical MMO? I'd rather pay for individual packs like this, that I'm actually going to play and enjoy, rather than paying a ridiculous amount every month for content I'm never going to touch. Thank you very much.
I know everyone is entitled to their opinion, but yours is just wrong.
Molock
I would purchase more BMP's. I love the GW lore.. so the more the better!
Melinda1984
if they just sold them instead of the whole "limited promotion" thing they did with this one yeah i would!
its good quality and adds a new challenge to the game to keep us busy untill gw 2 comes out
but i think they should put them in a box and sell them in store im not bothered about boxes but there are so many out there who cant get a credit or debit card that there should be other options
and gw 1 is far from dead matie have you seen how many people are still playing?
and theres people still buying the game for the first time
i bought prophices 3 months ago just coz it looked interesting
next thing you know ive bought factions, nightfall and eotn and since then both my brothers and sister have bought the games and they used to play wow before but like gw much more =)

I'd think about it if it was co-op and I was playing my own characters, I got bored with it pretty rapidly to be honest. I only bother playing it to get to the weapons if I want to put something on one of my characters.
If it was more of the same then no, probably not.

Phaern Majes
I wouldn't. I buy new content for just that the content, not the lore. As new bonus missions wouldn't really offer much other than new lore there would be no point. I can already get max weapons for all my heroes with the original BMP.

i would say at this point i would buy more BMP's if they offered them.
I also seen this thread that had some good ideas if it was done right.
check it on for ideas on how to do more BMP's

Yes, I would buy a new BMP.

Don't you all realise the GW business model we loved is changing?
It's not that most fair system anymore, of pay once and get a complete game, free to play forever, along with free updates. It was the same for 2 years and it worked, Factions and Nightfall were full games that added a lot of new content, whole new professions and hundreds of skills, new gametypes, completely new features. If the content was not finished (some 15k armors, DoA) it was added later on in free updates. All 3 campagins were worth their prices and set high standards to which everything else can be compared.
And then came GW:EN and it didn't add any extra character slots but still costed which didn't have and immediately my personal alarm went "Attention! You're about to pay More for Less!" - 10$ less but 2 slots less was certainly a worse deal than previous releases and it was an Expansion, not even a full game.
And it was even worse after playing it - every dungeon map repeated 3-5 times, ~30 of 40 armors being just lame reskins, many of them being easily the worst pieces in all GW, looking more like placeholder art than anything else. And the epic failure of HoM. Even worse thing - the rushed and incomplete things won't get updated, we got that promised!
And now with BMP on sale, the amount of new content is a tiny tiny bit of a full game, something between 5-8% the size, but the price is far higher!
GW is changing into a micropayments business model, it's becoming like all the other free to play mmos with Premium Item shops - in a game where all the economy is about vanity and looking cool the best items are being sold for real $$$. That + the skill unlock packs for people who suck at pvp is like selling "I WIN" buttons, exactly what the other free mmo's are doing and exactly the reason I'm not playing them.
What would you prefer - to get 15 "Bonus" Mission packs and spend 150$ or buy the same amount of content as 1 complete product for 50$ ??
The good old fair GW business model goes bye bye.

MithranArkanere
I would DEFINITELY get it, as long as at least has ONE o the following:
Core
1. The Mysts, the Rift and the first humans in Tyria.
2. How the gods became gods (I bet they were humans before).
3. How the gos fought others that were also gods or wanted their powers, like Dhuum, Menzies, Abaddon, etc.
Prophecies
1. Devona's Father during the last Guild War.
2. The last days of the Human Margonites.
3. Vizier Khilbron's finding the Scepter of Orr and his betrayal.
4. The Catacombs revisited.
5. Evennia.
6. Droknar's last great battle.
7. Tasca before it's demise.
8. Old Mack & Joe's adventures.
Factions->Prophecies
1. Molenin leading the Dredge through a tunnel to freedom.
Factions
1. Shiro's achievements and further betrayal.
2. Victor's side of the Battle.
3. Archemorus side of the Battle.
4. Vizu's side of the battle.
Prophecies->Nightfall
1. A Forgotten tale. How the Forgotten Ones became forgotten.
Nightfall
1. Hm... Kormir vs the Coursairs.
Eye of the North
1. The First Female Charr warrior, breaking through male domination, XDDD.
2. Fight as a Norn: i.e.: Gunnar's Greatest battle.
3. The Asura scape their tunnels.

Heck no.
I don't like solo missions and I don't like using pre-made builds. Two things that go against what makes GW so great.

Not if they were solo content with set skill bars like the current BMP. That was a huge disappointment. If they were more like normal gameplay I probably would.
Zonzai
I didn't like the BMP.
So, no, I wouldn't buy another. Some of the weapons look decent though. It's always nice to have something to give to a hero. But really, I don't give a flying... monkey. I'll play em if I can get them for free, like the last one.

I would buy the current BMP and any others if it was sold in retail stores, but I doubt they'll have it in Singapore, they don't even have platinum edition here as far as I know.
It said they're only releasing this BMP on retail in North America and Europe right? I need a debit card.

It is interesting how when GW:EN came out, there was a lot of complaining and little praise, but with the BMP it was the opposite: lots of compliments. The only complaints were by those who didn't or couldn't get it.
But, at the end of the day (months), I have spent a heck of a lot more time in GW:EN and really got a lot more for my gaming dollar.
The way it see it is that the BMP was like a small box of exquisite, hand-crafted fine chocolate, and GW:EN is like a year's supply of McDonalds gift-certificates.
The production values of the BMP was really top notch, but is it equivalent to 1/3 of GW:EN? or 1/4 of a full game?
Ah, who am I kidding? I'd buy another BMP.

More content at any cost?
Content in the form of mini 'bonus' packs is by far the most expensive possibility, over 3-4x more overpriced than full boxed products. It's just wrong, worse even than subscription models.

I would buy it...I bought it on Monday and was throughly impressed. The skins were nice and the solo missions were quite nice giving insight on classes I haven't played before. I think BMP would be rated like 8/10

Yes. I'd buy another one.

For $10, I expect something closer to Sorrow Furnace than the BMP. I value the BMP at about $5-$6.
If BMP is "worth" $10, then how much would Sorrow's Furnace be "worth"? $20? Then a full campaign would be "worth" $80-$100? I think its a tad overpriced, especially if it starts to be regularly sold.
Of course, the $10 price point is probably well researched acceptance level for a market that pays $15/month to Blizzard.
Anet should look into this more carefully. A kinda Per Mission Price, because I believe that consumers would calculate like that if it becomes the standard mode of expansion for GW2.

Horseman Of War
Yes...I hope ANet makes more content for GW. Its good stuff.
I got gw:en preordered from gw store. I would have bought it yesterday if I hadnt.
At first I was like "NOOOO I must be the ONLY ONE to have MURSAAT SPEAR!!1!"
But honestly- the employees at arenanet are good and they take pride in their work. I like guildwars and I will continue to support ANet in any future project they undertake. Also, I would still have gotten Gw:En on the online store to kill the middleman.

Oh yes - I'd definitely buy future mission packs. I've had a lot of fun with the BMP and I'd love to see more
Tazaki
While I was impressed by the quality of the BMP, I probably wouldnt buy any if they made more. I got this one due to buying EotN. If they were packaged like that again, sure I would get it. As long as theres something new and worth purchasing in the IGS. Last thing I need is to get more character slots, so if thats all that would be really avaliable, since I own all 3 chapters and EotN, I would probably pass on it.
ShadowStorm
They should definitely do at least one more bonus mission pack before the release of Guild Wars 2 so they can keep people interested in the game. I would really enjoy a few more random missions like the ones in the first BMP. They did a really good job on those. So yeah, I'd buy another BMP if they made one.

Nightfall is my first MMORPG in over 20 years.
I've had it about 3 days and played about 14 hours.
I bought the extra skill set yesterday and now I'll probably get the BMP when I get home from work.

NO.
Reasons:
1. Don't like the way BMP promotion was handled the first time.
2. Since it's solo there isn't a lot of will on my part to replay them since I can't enjoy them with friends. Shared experiences together.
3. Yawgmoth makes many many good points.
Mainly for me though, it's all about Reason 1. I'm still displeased.
