Double Gold and XP from vanquishing

I find it funny that some people think the "elite" vanquishers are actually getting anything here.

Well anyway im leaning forward to this weekend, but i wont join any nub pug that screams URSAN because thats autofail on my title, cheap work around and it doesnt reward me at all, i love to work for me titles and not cheapen it by a lame yet awesome skill.

Since ive been busy doing factions i think i'll just concentrate on vanquishing that one first, yes i know its the more easy campaing to do, but gotta do it anyways.

I wish we'd have another double SS/LB weekend since I had the stomach flu for the last one and couldn't participate. Or double GWEN rep would be nice too since I'm so close to rank 9 Dwarf. But meh, I may try vanquishing.

mm it would be nice Ofc Cause i vanguish when there is event or not but More cash would mean more lockpicks for me

Other weekend events tied to a title make obtaining that title easier, this one does goes a step ahead!
~1k gold more after an hour++ of vanquishing makes a difference that's well worthy of an weekend event.
500-1000 Extra exp. makes a huge difference too, great help for those going for Legendary Survivor by Vanquishing

Instead of Double XP and Gold when Vanquishing, they should have done Bonus Faction or Bonus Reputation when you vanquish an area. That would have been better.

Failed idea. I was rly hoping for more free booze and sugar for the canthan new year :|

Interesting weekend, but not going to get my vanquishing all weekend long, VQing is boring as heck done H+H and I prefer to take my time doing it with guildies.

I dont mind it, ive been slacking on the vanquishing front this past few weeks, gives me a bit of incentive.

Although the whole double xp is odd, you have to be lvl20 to vanquish anyway and whos going to use vanquishing to get survivor?

Double nothing=nothing

Those who coplain about this event probably rely on farming for gold. Those who rather not farm will like it more.

They should have double vanquish weekend. Vanquish one zone, get one free....

Kind of worthless event.

You get huge ammounts of Xp from vanquishing anyway.
You don't go vanquishing for the gold at the end either.

Want me to go vanquishing ? Give me a green arrow to find the last 5% foes that I've missed on some out of the way corner.
95% of foes takes about an hour ? the next 5% will take another half hour !

Vanquishing is about killing them, not finding them ....

Lol a noob can vanquish any area. Im playing the game for 2 years and I still need to use consumables for doing HM missions.
AND DOUBLE XP IS USELESS.
DOUBLE GOLD? Vanquish doesnt give any gold that can be counted as money and doubling 1-2k makes 2-4k It just doesnt worth the time. People who vanquish will still do and pğeople dont is not even near of getting encouraged

Calm down children - it's not an event, it's a weekend bonus. I doubt I benefit from 1/10 of these things, but I'm happy they bother to include them.

I can't get to wiki (I'm at work) - what does vanquish a zone mean?

Kill everything in it?

Do you get a message when you've done it or do you have to search to be sure?

Vanquishing a zone is killing EVERY foe in an area while in Hard Mode.
You get a message when the area is vanquished.

I know i may be being selfish, but really id rather have nothing than this weekend event.
