Top 100 gets... Greased Lightning minis! (again)

I for one am glad its greased lightnings again... the mini was far too rare.. even more rare then vizu....

yeah it should be renamed to "Top 58 List".

I made my own list where I wrote who's in the top several Times.

42 Players are "doubled" in the Top 100.

But they still give out 100 awards, so it's not like those who repeat on the list hurt anyone.

Actually thats not been shown yet, a friend of mine just got out of the top 100 so he is probably about 105?

But he got nothing, so the thing i think only 40 something minis were handed out (due to doubles on the list) and the rest were ignored, annoying but heck what can we do?

Imo it should be easy, they just check the Top 24h of the last 3 days and remove the doubled.

i talked to records guy at 2:58-9 and he was #99, at 3:01 he was #100

I am sure Gaile or some programmer workng for ANET will tell you thats not the way it works or something, i find ANET to be very communicative most of the time but when it comes to doing something about a small issue even if it is a small part of the game they dont bother because its just a small part.

I think i am in one of those people outside the top 100 to probably 140 or something but I got nothing either.

Same with my brother. Worst time on the list now is Ekelon with 476,7xx points. My brother got 476,3xx. The time he flunked out he was about 4 places below him (got a screen with both their names).
So now, with 42 times that should be deleted, how comes it that my brother doesn't get a beetle? That's only 400 points difference to #100! Where should the other 40 scores suddenly have come from?

I think Anets fix on that isn't working right.

Tottaly agree, i have no problems with people who got into the top 100 because they did a fast run, its the people that got a fast run and got doubles which pushed people down the top 100 list and werent "officially" on the list which is upseting some players. (Therefore no prize)

I would like to think ANET would want to fix this to give out as promised by the event "100 prizes" instead of 40 due to doubles.

It is likely the server only keep tracks of the top 100 scores and info outside the top 100 are lost. So it is probably too late now since there is no way of identifying the top 100 accounts(unless someone bothers to go through all the log).

I would certainly hope Anet fixes this problem . I, like some other people, was one of the unlucky few that was just barely not in the top 100 because other players have more than one place in the top 100. It's absurd and needs to be fixed.

I cant see why it should be such a big problem to take a look at the race logs, remove the people who have double or triple times, then put in the people who are just underneath the top 100 and give them there prizes.

100 mini beetles for the top 100 players not 40 beetles for 40 something players...
