Awesome guide Fuzzy. Getting my necro through all of Proph and NF just now to unlock HM and more farmign areas, tried the areas you mentioned for Factions, and excellent.

Well, the 55 Necro / SB monk has been confirmed by Lipgloss and myself. after further testing (and the wierd build i'm going to try in the FoW) i'll add it to the guide. hooray for the Chaos Plains, Bone Pits, and other now-doable stuff! (also hooray for potential guaranteed Beach / Forest runs!)
babochabo
i was wonder can this be ran with m/n varient for greater survival but less damage? because i don't feel like leveling a necro.
Fuzzy Taco
if you run a Mo/N, there;s no real advantage gained. Spirit Bond makes you survive excellently, even without Divine Favor. however, if it's an issue of leveling a necro, a Mo/N will work, but you won't be able to kill the more powerful healers, and the lower rank in Blood / Curses will catch up with you in the long run.

Wonderful job!!
Now the biggest question: which farming spot yields the most gold? (If I didn't miss the answer)

It's all luck...Some of the semi-vanquish ones are a bit longer than they're worth though...
From what I've done with soloing, the quick + easily repeatable runs are the best (So Luxon Assassins and Mount Qinkai)

2/28/08: added dual UW/FoW builds and tactics - i hope these can increase cash flow from these two locales.

There's a bunch of possible DN spawns...Once you do a few runs you'll not only know where they can be, but you'll be able to handle it no matter where they spawn

TY B4 There's a huge mo/w solo UW guide that I remember described all the DN patterns and spawns beatifully. I'll dig around on guru and my comp a bit to see if I can't find it. Now let's see, I wonder if it was one of Witte's posts, I'll edit this when I can find it.

I have been a part of a few other MMO communities and I must say that they can't hold a candle to the people of the GW community when it comes to sharing "trade secrets."
I can't imagine the time that it must take to not only create the guides I've read here but to test out the builds involved.
Incredible work and my hat's off to not only those who worked so hard at putting together this guide (my necro thanks you, too ) but also to those who have posted guides elsewhere on these boards for the GW community.
A job very well done, folks!

I'm not familiar with that CoF running, but why is it so popular? Are the drops so good then? Isn't it just like any other dungeon?
Fuzzy Taco
when you run CoF, you make around 10k a run, and you can run people through for a fee. you get some decent drops, but it's a very easy dungeon to farm 600/smite style for a good profit.

When you run people, you don't get much for drops, but you do make 2.5k a person.
2.5k x 6 people (most you can take at once) = 15k + drops you do get (including 2 free golds from the end chest) + 1.5k reward = some very nice profit

AWESOME GUIDE but i have one question what is the ideal weapon for these builds because i want to farm in Factions with my Necro but i dont know what weapon i need to get any suggestions?
Fuzzy Taco
Weaponry is really a personal choice - for more damage and more spelcasting, use a wand. for longer enchantments, use a sword/axe/spear with 20% enchantments. I personally used to use the Spirit of the Forgotten, a spear with +5e and 20% enchants. However, i switched to the Fiery Flame Spitter, offered by Nicanor Gannel somewhere in Ascalon. Mod it up with a 20% enchant mod, and it's absolutely the best weapon for a Spirit Bonding 55 Necro in my opinion. that HSR on Spirit Bond has saved me many a time.
EDIT: check out this wiki page for a map on how to get to Nicanor Gannel: Ironically, you can get those Scorched Lodestones by farming Old Ascalon Hulking Stone Elementals with your Necro.

wondering if you still have the build used for the hidden city in nf whit 150 hp
Fuzzy Taco
i still have it, but it's not very efficient, and the SV variant is infinitely easier to use. here it is, if you want to play around with it:
16 Curse, 12 Prot
[skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Shield of Absorption[/skill][skill]Shielding Hands[/skill][skill]Spirit Bond[/skill][skill]Insidious Parasite[/skill][skill]Spiteful Spirit[/skill][skill]Balthazar's Spirit[/skill][skill]Essence Bond[/skill]

MLiC You forgot to mention that there is also a small chance of getting a Ruby Djinn polymock piece that last i heard of was worth 35-40K from the chest.

King Sasuke
Where is the most profitable farming place in Factions?
Fuzzy Taco
in Factions, i think the most profitable farm is Pongmei Valley - full inventories, plenty of golds and two bosses to boot.
King Sasuke
Which in your opinion is the most profitable game like Nightfall,Factions,Prophices. Sorry for all the questions i just cant wait to start my Necro i just want to know which game i should start him in.
Fuzzy Taco
Th most profitable game (in my opinion) is probably Nightfall - there are a lot of long, profitable runs to do there, and it's not tough to get through NF to start a necro.
assassin of the night
ugh im still haveing trouble with UW at the start i hate THOSE DIEING NIGHTMARES!! so if anyone knows the most normal spawn of them (i know theres alot ) but if anyone also has a pic showing where they usually spawn it would help SO MUCh i read the UW guide part like 20 times im still haveing truble =(
Fuzzy Taco
if you're still having trouble with Nightmares in the UW, try this: pull the first aatxe groups back to benton - the ones on the left and right. for the center group + the group on the stairs, hit HB, pull, then IMMEDIATELY start running away, towards your precious Benton. If a nightmare spawns, let it rend you (it'll kill itself on rend), IMMEDIATELY recast PS, then bodyblock the aatxes. that should work. as for the two aatxes up the right set of stairs - wait for them to be at the very edge of their patrol (the edge closest to you, ofc) before pulling, and check their whole route for Nightmares. if they're standing still, it almost always means a nightmare spawn.
Abonai Laguna
He helped me alot ingame, taught me how to do CoF in HM. Thanks alot, and I owe you one.

What happens for me when i face a DN is that i will get benton between me and the aatxe, but i will almost ALWAYS rubberband and ill be like 30 ft away from the aatxe but still getting hit, and then while im puzzled as to why this could happen i get rended and die
i dont zip back to near the aatxe like i was there the whole time but the game made it look as if i was safe (rubberbanding) so i dont really think its that, maybe internet lag?
So basically for me benton isnt reliable enough for me to use this build for this farm.
