Btw farming ectos isn't the best way to make money lol! Buying/Selling high end miniatures is the way to go though it can be really risky as you can be rich as hell or poor like a dog!

Those who want to nerf drop rate are mostly people who cannot play small team (solo, 2 men) in these areas and therefore cannot take advantage of it. Still, nerfing drop rate there is a very stupid idea - you don't actually MAKE money from it.
Those who solo smite runs get what... 1 ecto per 30 mins? That's what? Not even 5K anymore. That's less than one would make farming Griffons back then. Hell, I probably 2-men 'ed UW more than anyone else on this forum, I cleared it twice with two people, and I don't even have 15k across all my characters. I have no tormented item, no armbrace, nothing prestigious aside from the FoW armor (which is not that prestigious anymore) which I bought before Factions.
During Prophecies, ectos were worth over 10K each, and yeah I agree UW farming could be quite profitable, but now they're less than 5K, and many new areas were introduced (EOTN dungeons, DoA, etc.) and are much more profitable than UW.

UW/FoW are PVE ELITE areas. not PVP ELITE areas like HoH. Last time Eruope held favor 20+hours/day every day. No. That fails. Until we restrict American players from going to Europe servers.
Yes I find that the fact we have 18+ days of favor atm, but that's the point. we reward pve players with acheiving pve accomplishments with pve rewards. pvp players have that chest. I hated the old system, and the new system is better (still not perfect, I admit, now.)
Why don't we nerf the amount of minutes gained by acheiving max titles? They have nerfed builds, and now pretty much made it that only a few solo builds can solo UW anymore; the rest require teams or 2 or more. FoW is still difficult as it is to solo as it was before the other campaigns. (Tho GWEN, and the pve-only skills made it easier.)
What am I saying in all this? Stop whining, and play the game.

and remove passage scrolls

lets not forget that as more ppl earn they'r title; and the player pool keeps shrinking, the less titles will be earned in the longrun allowing for less access into these areas.

It was really bad before the favor change, basically Europe had favor all the time. It spawned nothing but "europe sucks" "america is a bunch of pansies" kind of crap, we don't need racism, we have enough BS between the Luxons and Kurzicks.
Sure, 26k minutes may be a little too much, but at least it's a balance instead of what went on before.

Resetting the timer is a solution that only works for a week or so. In order for this to be effective, they'd have to reset the timer every other week-ish and then never do a double LB/SB weekend ever again.
