Back Door Out Of Hall Of Monuments!!

This is not a glitch!
I do not know whether this has been commented on before but i found something i would like to share.
While adding monuments to my honour stand i came across a path out of the back.

I am suggesting that maybe this could be a link to guild wars 2. THIS IS ONLY MY OWN SPECULATION.

It could be a portal to the future or something across those lines.

Any ideas?

I've attacthed some screenies so you can have a look.

Post here with any suggestions or ideas.

yeah, im guessing that when you go through the other way into gw1 from gw2 you blow up all your titles monuments, so title hunters beware =P

but yeah im pretty sure thats gonna be the entrance to it in gw2, im guessing the eotn will get smashed to pieces by drakkar and be buried amongst the mountain until you find it in gw2

my statue is popping out a metal figure out of the watery effect... it blocks my view T_T

Anyway in rebuttal to ur point, i had just finished slavers exile and killed duncan the black with this build ^^

i doubt that will be a gate gw2... it might serve some purpose in gw2 though.... i agree with that notion...

it could be where an evil army comes through (e.g Palawa Joko) and takes over tyria?

I think ANet just needed some cool way to suspend the KoaBD statue.

The path is just since it gives more depth to it.

...that or it's a portal back to GW1 which only enables itself when you have slain Primordus in GW2!

I'm Guild wars 2 fanatic and I agree that, that could be the entrance to the hall in Gw2... We just have to wait and see, eh? ;P

I doubt it they said characters wouldnt be migrated into GW2.

I'd say that it has indeed been noticed before. I've always thought of it as an alcove than a doorway or endless tunnel.

Thats a weird question....why wouldnt it? its your own personal Hall of Monuments. The way its made it would require an EA and not an outpost.


This is most likely just how Anet designed the Honor Statue.

The only HoH portal by GW2's time is behind the Kind of a Big Deal statue.

Players will need to sacrifice their KoaBD titles (you talk to this NPC to become "not a big deal"-ified) to destroy the statue and fit through!

Its called taming the Rainbow Pheonix, thats why you can use skills.

As for what that path is, it won't be a portal to gw2 like you suggested at first, as we will have brand new characters. The only thing I can think of that the passage can be is the enterance to the HoM in GW2, if thats not it then its just some more random things anet put in for better looks.
