I woud say the opposite of what most are saying Dervs,Sins. There needs to be more castor classes as there are to many melee types right now.I would put shadow, deadly arts and shouts/chants in tactics maybe create spear mastery attribute..I don't like the spirit spam of the Ritualist and some are to darn strong.

Pargon or rts I love there skills on other professions but not them :s
it wont be such a bad idea for just the core profs there the only ones i really like anyway. but as Raven214 said so long as they add more depth to there skill system.

All the professions from GW is being chopped, heard they are making completely new classes.

Im pretty sure the cores are safe.
Mez are tough to play but they have far too many extremely useful builds and skills and without them the game would decline heavily in depth.
sins are pvp monsters and damn annoying. pve they just don't rank up compared to most other classes... i image they solo ok but my point is their really not too much team players.
i tried to like paragons i really did... but pve they are just frusterating on every lvl. Props for whoever comes up with functional pve builds for them because trying to stay alive + keeping others buffed + mp management is such a headache. As for pvp they actually really hit hard. I ran pvp as para many times and people often scrabble for the nec or mes but weren't aware i was picking them off and annihilating them just as quickly.
lol Dervs i feel are kinda the random class of the game... but they def win the popularity contest. i'd say 80% of anyone who has played for the past couple yrs has a derv and a large portion of that has completed atleast one campaign with em'. again altho they are probably the most (or least) balanced class i think they are the most likely to get dropped.
Rits rock. Too unique to go anywhere. They usually arent first pick in pve but i think they are a real good class.

Because Guild Wars 2 is a whole new game with different professions and races, new technology, and expanded gameplay, it would not be possible to directly use an original Guild Wars character. |
I take that as a chop

I'm guessing paragons will either be removed or nerfed because of how imbalanced they have been in GW1.
