Hello everybody!
Tidus Yumemiru and I have finally started a movie series after much encouragement from a movie preview I made as a final submission for the Tyria's Next Top Superstar Competition. The backstory and set up for the script is as follows or please watch the movie preview :
THE SOUL SLAYER
A young woman finds she must slay a thousand escaped souls in order to save her family from certain death. The family had promised the Gods the service of their first born upon her 20th birthday if they would allow her to cheat death in the womb as foretold by the monks during her mother's pregnancy. While in service of the Gods, she is given “The Soul Slayer,” a powerful sword that wields the power of fallen angels. She quickly finds herself overwhelmed and knows her defeat will end her life as well as her family’s. Unbeknownst to her, the bearer of the sword cannot die, and commands an angel to protect the master of the sword. She is soon saved by the angel and finds she is the only human that can see, hear or touch him since “The Soul Slayer” is in her possession. He learns of her impossible task and helps her to slay the escaped souls before the end of her next birthday. His chivalrous service wins her heart and they fall deeply in love. But once her service is over she must return the sword. She will lose her wings and will never be able to see him again. She must choose between eternal service for the Gods and see her beloved; or return to her family and never see her true love again. Just as it seems there is no hope, her angel begs her to betray the Gods and keep the sword; a move that will unleash their fury including the captured souls. Can anyone survive from double crossing the Gods?

We hope u enjoy it as much as we did making it...the preview was my first try ever making a video - I have learned much since and assure you our Prequel movie to Soul Slayer called "Tidus's Story" is a much more developed video/movie production.

the songs... they are also a big factor of why i didn't like the clips.
edit: hmm.. "part four - the battleplan" is decent, actually. but don't get your head too far in the sky just yet :P

We entered this movie/video as submission for JakeBatchelor's competion on youtube - A GWMV Contest Featuring "Pulse" (sung by Yoko Kanno) Where contestants entered into a competition to create the best GWMV based on a song chosen by a single judge. They are given a full week to complete the task.

thanks guys the support is really appreciated <3 i was wondering how people were going to take to tained/emo Tidus i can tell u it was quite a lot of work for both me and Kitiara. But its paid off also so glad u guys like Tidy's voice!

The Battleplan vid was ranked #4 The Top 10 Guild Wars Music Videos Of All Time course in the end that can be chalked up to opinion tho i know this judge as watched all GW movies ever submitted on youtube. Post your work here I'd love to see it! I have to post this cuz I'm so proud of your hard work Tidus - I just HAVE to let everyone know...this is Tidus's first time using the Sony Vegas editing program and check out how well this video has done - As of 7am CST Monday (midnight Tues Mar 4th for Aussies)

Thanks everyone for the support <3 our whole story is pretty much mapped out and really has only a few characters but with the amount of offers for help and wanting to be in the movie I am hoping Tidus and I can cook something up
I have one idea for the closing story...Also! Stay tuned- by tomorrow, I will be posting a link to our Soul Slayer Forum that has great screen shots of "Emo Tidus" (Tidus as the dark angel) if you'd like to get a good look at him. We have a guest book and would love to hear your ideas. If there are any roles where we will need help a "casting section" will be there too if you'd like to sign up and be a part of the fun

She is heading up a project in development for us that takes our "love triangle story" into a new direction - I will make sure she posts it here

Tidus, Kitiara, congratulations on making an excellent video. Between the trailer and Tidus' story, I am eager to hear how the tale will unfold!
I'd like to specifically compliment a few things from Tidus' story:
-Great job on cursed Tidus' appearance, he looks like a soul slayer should.
-I really enjoyed the writing of Tidus' monologue.
-I don't know if it was self voiced or if you had to cast someone for the part; either way it was a perfect fit for the character.
Again, congratulations and keep up the good work!

Oh and thought you guys might like to see the actor with acting work and trivia who is the voice behind Tidus, I have pushed him for a while to give voice acting a try (I'm biased and love his voice and just had to pair it with my favorite paragon - the two just seemed to fit! you gotta imagine how excited I was to put 2 of my favorite things together - it's like chocolate and peanut butter ah ha ha ha! ) and if any of you like his voice please do say so here, I'm sure he'd love the encouragement (thank you to the many that have ) He's done a lot of Independent Film work which IMDB doesn't list, it's a great site for finding the ratings on movies and actors.

That was a great movie Tidus! It was very emotional (especially the flashbacks...) but I didn't cry, reason being I'd slap myself for crying over game characters. Anyhow, the ending was a tad confusing (wasn't sure if kiti was hugging for the last time or taking back...) but then I read the other thread and found out.

ok, came back to see how the vids were coming along... and well..
i LOVED the 5th installement. the ending was perfect. the hug between the 2 sealed the deal for me and you have my upmost respect . it was perfect..... absolutely perfect finish with the ending hug.
and no.. *sniff* ... i didn't cry... just my eyes got watery from the dust in the air... *sniff*
