oh noes! the price of the ectos will rise and i won't be able to get my chaos gloves!

on a more serious note, a better* idea is that the clay is used to make miniatures of bosses and important npcs.

*i use better extremely loosely

We don't need more minipets to widen the rich/poor divide.

I like the idea of a "mini-me." It has been suggested many times before.
However, for the price of 250 ectos? Riiiight. Great idea, for players without a life, or with a credit card handy. :P

I love the idea.

Make it so you have "clay" in your inventory and it only moulds the character so if you trade it, it moulds to that character therefore the price of it stays the same. Simple solution for a few peole in earlier pages ^^

Also instead of having a price of loads of ecto for it...change it to something else...everyone seems to use ecto lately XDD maybe a bunch of materials...

Making it a HM drop is cool :-)
You will always get the problem of people farming them but hell people farm anything you cant really stop it.

Or basic knowledge of obvious economics. Power trading ftw.

Lol, anyone who has the time of day to sit and analyze the economy of an online game, measure it like a stock market, and then proceed to make repetitive, time consuming trading transactions in order to get 250 ectos wouldn't be considered an "average player." Repetitive power trading is an obsessive tendency practiced by players with too much time on their hands.

No matter how you try to spin the situation, the average player (and even most players considered "rich") does not have 250 ectos sitting around.
In addition, even if you did, why on earth would you pay that much for a mini pet?

Too much imo, maybe for 50-75e, but 250e is a bit unreasonable imo.

We have enough of these stupid irrelevancies, (mini’s), cluttering up the game as it is

You have to accept that some ppl have more money than you... The richest need to have some toys to show their status.
What is 250 ectos ? About 250 hours played. Or 500. Who cares ? Thats very little: one hour a day for a year. For the ultimate high end item ? You deserve a big lol.

please add something that improves gameplay for once, or at least can be used for something there are already enough high end uber rare minis in game and this would be a programming nightmare. Id rather see anet's talents go into gameplay and GW2 programming
