Man the Obsidian Blade looks nice. The rest are a little disappointing, maybe it's just the way the Demonic shield is held but it's not what I expected.

Celestial Compass might as well be a ripoff of Miranda Lotto's Time Record Innocence; it looks exactly like it except there are runes instead of watchhands on it.

EDIT: The Obsidian Blade looks like it's that weird black and blue sword, except they doubled up the blade so it's less a katana and more of a broadsword.

When we find them personally I have no doubt some will share. But like others, all of what I've located was by it being posted in other places or spotting people selling it. Most the sellers I talked to wont share where they found thier stuff. Only ones people told about was the serpentine reaver with me.

If they make its drop rate the same as, say the raven staff, then they could. We dont know drop rates of any of these things yet, since it hasnt even been a day since they were released.

so a casual player needs to be able to afford any and every weapon they want? glittery e-peen enlargement weapons are for those of us who play far too much while BMP weapons or cheap greens do exactly the same job while being affordable to all. i dont see a problem ^_^

So far there doesn't seem to be any difficult way of obtaining them. That same casual player could always get one drop for them and be rich if they cost so much.

When I saw the original concept art I thought of the focii from Final Fantasy X, though the final result seems a bit different (I expected the entire focus to be glowy energy).

Because it's inscribable, you'd have to actually finish FoW for it to drop. That reward chest is the only one that spawns inscribable items. :\

I wouldn't buy the Serpentine Sceptors for that much right now as they seem to drop like crazy more than the other new Weapons! I predict that the Demonic Aegis and Obsidian Blades will be the only ones worth a lot as Demonic Aegis only drops from end chests and Z chest at the moment. Only one person has an Obsidians Blade right now so I think their suggesting their rarer. Serpentine Sceptor prices will drop especillially since loads are coming out from chests in Vabbi, buy tomorrow or this week everyone will have em, and they won't be speacial anymore. On the otherhand, I would say Celestial Compasses and Demonic Aegis' and Obsidian Blades will be worth the money. But you know, that's just me and my stupid ol' Opnions!

I think the main reason we've seen more Serpentine Reavers (not Scepters) is that someone was actually nice enough to say where they were found, allowing other people to run out and farm them. As for the others, we know of only one confirmed Draconic Shield and Obsidian Blade, which could mean they're rather rare or that people just aren't looking in the right places.

The Demonic Aegis will definitely be valuable though, if the Mallyx chest is the only PvE place it drops. Strange that they added it there; I figured they would put it in one of the lesser-visited RoT areas like Depths of Madness.
