Paragons didn't get the nickname IMBAgons for no reason! The skills "There's nothing to fear!" is reason enough to bring one! On top of that if you have a Warrior with "Save Yourselves!" you basically have god mode in your group right there with those 2 skills alone. People dislike Paragons for some very stupid reasons... I like to think of playing a Paragon as playing a "Stupid Alarm", if people don't invite you because they think Paragons are weak, then you're probably better off with a pure henchmen group...

I've honestly haven't played with or even noticed a single Paragon outside of Nightfall yet (PvE)(started playing again for about a week or so). Perhaps the lack of players using them is why they aren't accepted.

Err, yes and no. They had a few options, but the multiple nerfs has removed most of the viablitiy of that skill line (which is why I don't like paragons). So I guess it was an overall weak skill line that has degraded into uselessness.

That's the interesting thing I noticed-lots of people make paragons and you see them all over the place in the low end areas.
But get to the high end-or heck even just off noob island-and you hardly see 'em. My theory is that everyone hears about how great paras are, then they make one to see for themselves, but they do horrible at it and draw the conclusion that they suck. We had a couple of guys like this in a guild we had in our allinace.

People don't like paragons because they don't have an obvious role in Tank'n'nuke gameplay. All those eles out there with 8 fire skills? How about wammos in PvE with both ripostes and a bar of block stances? Those are the guys who think paragons are bad, but they'd also think mindblasters with support are weaker than 'pure fire eles.'
I mean, what good is support when you have a tank to hold agro, and eles to blast things? Arrgh.

i will never pug again after trying a slavers pug with an obby tank.
omg it was bad the tank was bitchy kid who kept going about how eles are suppsed to just sit there and nuke, even though after 4 near wipes with me being the last ele alive and rezing the whole team he started to shut up. the monks didn't know how to kite either they stood there trying to heal while the enimies raped them the other eles had no idea how to priority nuke they just nuked the warriors, which is typical tank and spank tactics but still when there are 4 monks nearby and the obby tank is not moving twords them you do have to nuke the healers first. it was sad as hell. i will never again pug in slavers also i just bring pure dps warrior and a imbagon. 1 ub with Sabway 1 imbagon with the Paraway build =everything dies fast
