The great irony. You want to stop this botting, but the bots are better than the players. Are they ruining the game or just making it slighty better?

There is a difference between a bot and the average RA player?

I have only encountered this one day, but it was non-stop. I ended up with bots almost every match. You end up losing for the most part, because the bot doesn't do much but charge right for the first "C" it's programmed to hit and gets owned by the other team as the other 3 players type /resign.

It's annoying to say the least and I hope I don't encounter it again.

Well sorry, what I meant to say is, Touch rangers are the most effective brainless skills! By attacking they heal themselves and deal lotsa damage!! I'm sure these guys are better than the average mending wammo RA player...

^^ Yeah, but the bots feeelings get hurt when you call them "noob touchers"

So they stick to Wammos, everyone expects them to charge in and die anyway so it's a great cover.

Agreed.

The bots in question actually have rank 2 gladiator titles now (they have been operating so long). Several times they end up in Team Arenas after losing in RA after 10+ wins and get stuck (since they are just programed to "enter battle" but without a full team they can't do that).

I'm not that surprised. Most players in RA just C + Space anyways. There is no way to tell a bot from a human player because they generally do the same thing. Charge in and die (in the case of assassins like me, it's teleport in an die).

Well thing is, I've noticed the bot itself will target a team mate and strictly follow him or her around as a pathing, then once in range it c spaces it's target and just spams it's stances, very noticeable.

Try running real close to one while they are target locked on someone else. They can't decide who to attack and just run back and forth

have you ever seen the difference with a mesmer bot and real mesmer player?
well put it this way
at fast casting 10 with a skill like [skill]power spike[/skill] that bot can interupt even your [/skill]spirit bond[/skill] and a human player can't
so what's the difference? bots have rapid reflexes

I was being sardonic fyi. It's pretty obvious someone's a bot when they do repetitive things and don't talk. Some bots, however, will randomly say "HI". This is usually a pre-programmed statement that is set to go every once in a while, if you notice someone saying "HI" randomly at the end or middle of a match, then they might be a bot.

I've seen some good ones. Basically, what they do is they click to follow you, and then a milisecond later, program to use their attack skill. Then it waits 5 seconds, and then repeats. What happens here is that if there is no enemies in radar, then it will keep following you. If there is an enemy, then the attack command will overwrite the follow command, therefore. Once engaged in action, they will hardly ever follow an ally as long as there is an enemy in radar range. So keep this in mind as another tactic to exopse a bot.

Interrupt Spirit Bond? What on earth is the point? Only a bot would think interrupting it makes any kind of sense.

Big shock there

Item A becomes valuable in gw
Item A becomes something to be sold offline for good cash
Item A becomes farmed by retard bots
Item A becomes less valuable
Item A begins to be less farmed by bots and the bots go elsewhere to ruin farming spots
