many skills need really some serious buffs, because they are kinda totally useless either, or the skills have soem effects, wherefor exist like with similar effects 1-3 another skills, which are far more effective, due to higher damage output, better recharge time or lesser adrenaline/energy cost ect. ...
The dumb problem about all those skills is - anet could easily buff them for pve, but much of them would be surely overpowered for pvp.
The typical shit problem about the twin usage of skills, that the ksills have in pve the same effects as in pve and due to that balancing affects ever both modes -.-
And the game has too much skills imo, the game never needed all those "clone" skills for example with same efrects, but other names...
Wherefore do we have the Echo-Skills oO? -.-
Many Skills could be theoretically be erased and the effects put to other skills, by making out of some normal Skills Elite Skills...
Example:
[skill]Escape[/skill] + [skill]Lightning Reflexes[/skill] + [skill]Dodge[/skill]
Could be all merged to 1 Elite Skill:
Lightning Reflex Escape >10E, 20RL
For the next 5-10 seconds you move and attack 25% faster, your dodge rate for physical and projectile attacks will be 50-75%. This Stance will end, if you use an Attack Skill.

Trapper's Arts > 5E, 2CT, 20RT

simple combien those 2 skills and give strike the effect of run too

Some skills are just designed badly, so they're either too good or absolute shit.
Much like some of the classes in general, Assassin for one.
Paragon & Ritualist, unremovable buffs?

Ride the lightning is used a lot in PvP (RA, AB) and is good for a E/A Spike build.
With Mirror of ice i have seen being used in PvP as well. (RA, TA) I don't think it's great but it isn't horrible..

OK, OK, I know it's lame. I'm bored at work so I just had to post something stupid to entertain myself (and hopefully, somebody found this funny).
As for [skill]Healer's Covenant[/skill], it actually has its use. Its healing doesn't affect enchants so Patient Spirit, Vigorous Spirit, etc. are just as effective but cost less energy. Granted, these are not the greatest healing skills in the game, but good for some passive healing. Also, heroes benefit well from HC. Since heroes spam the crap out of healing spells on allies who barely lost 30 HP, stick HC on along with 5e healing spells and hero's can maintain energy pretty well. I wouldn't recommend these as your regular healing builds, but they do have some use.

I like infuse even in PvE, monked my way through Urgoz Warren hard mode with it. These hammer wardens spike like madmen. Infuse poor sod->mop up with LoD->hope poor sod knows how to kite.

Healers Covenant is amazing. My healer hero has it now and never runs out of energy, and heals good too with the Enchants + D kiss, also with Divine Healing + Heavens Delight.
Full bar is something like:
D kiss
Patient Spirit
Vigorous Spirit
2x Spotless spells
Healers Covenant
Heavens Delight
Divine healing
Epic pro hero bar, if you dont use it yet I feel sorry for you. Dare I say that I actually swap a spotless skill for healing breeze sometimes. Yea laugh at me for using healing breeze becuz it means I fail right?
And for the info, I *ONLY* use it where enchant removal isnt a problem, like in RA
