the consise option is the the most horrible update ever. the sentences in the skill descriptions don't make any sense at all. what else should i expect from the reasoning of a company who allows the use of names of illegal drugs but bars people from their servers for cursing?

Big deal it says LSD, Big deal someone has drugs in his nickname... Put on the tv for 2 seconds and you see someone blowing someone elses head off, and btw, gw isnt too kid-friendly either? Cutting someones head off, torching someone and shooting them with bow & arrow... Ban GW tbh...

They don't just ban for curses, they ban for abusive language and evading the filter. The acronym for a drug is absolutely meaningless to someone who doesn't already know what it is, and "Coke" may as well just be a drink. Not to mention the fact that the game is rated T; every 13 year old knows that there are drugs out there, not every 13 year old (or 20, 30, 50, etc) wants to see you cursing at them.
As for this being grammatically incorrect....so? The point of the skill description is to get the necessary information to the player; these shorter versions just do that faster and on a cleaner template, which is stylistically preferable to messy descriptions that use things like "negative conditions". That can only confuse people really. It's much like the transition from random ass descriptions on MtG cards, to the very structured and formatted versions we have in newer sets.

I chose concise just to check it out, and I actually like it more than traditional. I had no problems with the old skill descriptions, but concise gets rid of some of the useless info. Now, I prefer concise as I like to keep it simple.

not to not appreciate the hard work anet has done but I kinda think spending all that time to rewrite the skills is time wasted.
They could unbreak this borning halls or even spice up pve. Or add a new gvg map or two.
I think adding a new maps may take up less time than rewriting thousands of skills
