I say remove pvp and loot scaleing. Oh and all those totaly stupid nerfs to pve that where for no other reason than the holy grial of pvp which can never be attained IE balance.

If you don't like them, that's fair, but I can assure you that the majority of GW players wants this stuff. Do you really think the developers would be continuing with things like that, if everyone just hated them?

Get rid of the multi-campaign system (especially standalone, only brings in more noobs). Roll with an expansion system like GW:EN.
Get rid of crappy Factions and NF content, GW:EN may be worth keeping.
Get rid of all non-core professions, they broke the game especially PvP (I don't PvP but I understand it's a big issue).
Get rid of loot scaling (what ANet said is BS, it did NOT help the economy whatsoever).
Un-nerf all our favorite farming spots!
Heroes, maybe keep - it killed PuGging but they DO help.
Old favor system. I admit Europe hogged favor most of the time with the old system, but that made FoW/UW a LOT more special when it was available, and in turn would help ecto prices (unless you seek FoW armor, you probably are wishing you could sell them for more).

- Persistence... yeah I already know this is going to happen, but this the entire reason I played GW from the word go... peace, quite, and privacy...

6)Add a mesmer hero to Pre Ascalon*auto-gained in post if you did not get it*

8)switch Olias with Eve, Margrid with Aiden, Koss with Devona, Tahlkora with Mhenlo, and Zhed with Cynn. They are the "main characters" of GW anyways and are in all games, so why not make them heroes??
9)Change locations of where heroes are gained, so it is more proportional to all 4 games *one in pre, one(2) in post, 1 in northern shiverpeaks, 1 in kryta, 1 in maguuma, 1 in Crystal Desert, 1 in southern shiverpeaks, 1 in Shing Jea,1 in Kaineng, 1 in Kurzick area, 1 in Jade Sea, 1 in Istani, 1 in Kourna, 1 in Vabbi, 1 in the Desolation, 1 in the Realm of Torment, 1 in Far Shiverpeaks, 1 in Charr homelands, 1 in Tarnished Coast, 1 in the underground* works perfectly with 20 heroes.

- Non Grind based Gameplay Titles, rest like Sweettooth ,Drunkard ect. can be erased
- Cantha and Elona, those continents should not get abandoned in GW2, the game should start with all 3 continents being explorable
- All Contest Items, the community makes way better looking Stuff, than any of the Designers of Anet imo ... game has hundreds of items, but only like a hand full of them has really the high detailed grade of style, like the contest items have it. Most stuff of anet#s designers compared to the contest items look just boring - so can look weak beginer weapons, but as mightier weapons get, so more powerful must they also look and simple have more style to see a difference between a master's weapon and some cheap standart stuff ...
- Map Travel Ability, but give players also RP alternatives, like rideable and flyable Mounts or buying/creating your own Ship with that you can travel than from point to point and anchor then at port towns (Suikoden 4), because quick travel per map alone is total boring... there you could give players also the ability to learn how to use Teleport Magic by using Rune Stones (Gothic 3), would be the same quick travel system, like map travel, but would have far more Style ...or let us use Asura Gates *cough Star Gates*cough* to teleport from continent to continent, would again have more style, then map travel, but would be the same system...
- Treasure Chests, but remove this Key Crap and make chests be openable by all characters, like Dungeon End Chests can be opened by all characters without usign keyes for them, just click and open and everyone gets something once...

- Bond of balancing between PvE and PvP sharing the same Skill Effects, this is absolutely idiotic and the one who thought out this retarded concept is the dumbest Noob Developer on the World
- Grind Titles which require only massive amounts of Time and are "buyable"
- Hyper rare limitated sourced Minipets, stuff like Kanaxai existing only 28x n a game with 5 million players -.- Just retarded to so somethign like this
- Level Cap of 20 (100 is a good decision, as long the requirements to reach this level are not as retarded, as that it will take ages to reach it... max 1 month of normal playing by say 2-3hours/day) but absolutely not more...
When it goes to the point, that players get forced to play hardcore and to grind dailx for the half day just to have a chance to reach lvl 100 in humanous time, then won't make anet many friends in GW2 for sure, because then will GW2 nothign else, than a hated asia grinder.
- PvP only awards or any content, that forces pve players to play high end pvp and vice versa...just again retarded idiotic shit of a Noob Developer, who is in the believe.. pve and pvp can be merged. ya sure not with gameplay only awards/content you FOOL !!!!
- old Dervish, Paragon, Assassin and Ritualist Class Concepts and give them better ones to make those classes more unique and to get rid of those shity Wannabe-Professions, like mostly the Dervish and the Paragon are
- Instanced pve, I want to play in a game that is everywhere full of live, where I can meet every on people and not just only in outposts -.-
Also this would enable a PK Mode, which is only able to implement in a persistent gameworld
- the boring ugly looking battle system, that looks like, as if children play with plastic soldiers - give the game an action based stylish martial battle system a la EVAN-Online, where Placing Strategies are muhc more important and where a player is able to influence the environment into the battle system, for examply by kicking a foe down a cliff or throwing a foe against a rock wall.
And where battle skills will also look more epic, where players will be able to enable in the options a "Brutal Mode", so that blood will be shown and that you will hear sounds, when you break your foe some bones or so XD and that you will hear then hear your foes whimmer on pain, when you hurt them dangerous so that the game will be rated for 16+ and not more for 12 years ...
- Henchmen and stupid heroes, which are AI wise dumber then henchmen -.-, giving players only noobish command options
- Armors, that are only buyable/tradeable through npcs - want to be able to craft own armors and weapons through a crafting system, which will wear own personally names and armors should also drop like weapons from enemies, but they would be "used" and would have only 2/3 of their max defense power - players must repair them first, before they will have full power and before a player would be able to sell them like uncustomized weapons.
This system of GW1 was total senseless, the system of 1/15k max is good, but there is no reason, why armors should not also drop too from enemies...
- 2 Class System or at least improve it with an Evolution System to give the 2 Class System more depth and the whole process of character creation more long term motivation ...
- Factions ... such gameplay is only good, when more than only 2 factions are provided and far more then only 2 competive areas exist for the players so that the whole fighting around the factions won#t become so extreme quick too boring and 1 sided ...
- Gamer Title and other idiotic stuff, that anet enabled to work on only every x months -.-
- idiotic limitations to professions, like necromancer MM's beign able to summon only maximum 10 Minions -.- or that Rangers have to waste 1 skill slot, only to be able to have their pet at their side -.-
Add to/Make the Game:
- Higher Level Cap (100 and not more) with balanced grade of Experience Ladder , so that reaching Lvl 100 takes for an average good player not longer, than maximal 1-2 Months of normal playing without grind training..., simple by normal playing the game's story
- Only unique Non-Wannabe Professions and improve the existing gameplay systems around Character Creation, Character Development, Battling, Skills, Economy, Character Job Abilities ect. pp
- Mounts and general more alternatives for Character Traveling, than Map Travel (Flying/Shipping/Riding/Teleporting)
- Auction Houses and Player Shops for own Districts in Commerce Towns
- Ingame-Mail System for Players (letters beign transported by Birds or littles fairies, which will bring the stuff to their goal and iwll annoy the people so long, until they take the letter lolz) with the option to enable/disable mail from others
- permaplayable Minigames with more depth behind them, other then being playable only every x months and providing us then ever and ever again only the same stuff with the same ugly boring stuff that we know for years...
I want to see an highly improved version of Rollerbettle Racing with like 18 different Race Tracks *.* that would be awesome.. a a Card Minigame a la the one of FF8 about monsters... and each monster in GW2 would have then a chance to drop their Card and at Trader NPC's you could also trade in cards for prizes
- RP instances for Role players
- Housing with enterable locations in outposts. venders hsould have their own shops in houses ect. playerds should be able to enter into a Tavern to sit down their characters their on a chair and to order from th bar keeper npc then something, to see how an other Waitress NPC will bring you the stuff, that you ordered ^^ where you could then also private chat with others ...
something I really miss in GW - that regardless which chat you use (unlesse you and your chat partner are not in the same guild/ally) the whole world and every ass can see, about what you 2 talk -.-
- Potions to have in GW2 never again suhc a hype about Healing Professions, alos when GW2 will become more about Solo gameplay also, as stated, potions are a viable way to make this so and potions are also a good gold sink and lower the massive advantage of gold gainage over those, that don't play solo, without such stupid shit, like lootscaling ....
- a coordination system to the game world, so that players can way better locate, where other players or things are, and its absolutely handy together with the ability to teleport with a character, be it either via Rune Stones, or by usign technology like Asura Gates *cough Star Gates* cough* ^^

335A:61F and you will get teleported to the place of the world, that fits to this coordinate
Asura Gate: You go to a little tower in frotn of the gate, give in the coordinates for your goal, like

press "activate", look at the flashy plasmatic shot of the gate, before it will look like a mirror of Water and then rush through the gate, watch a little sequence of a wormhole/slipstream thing XD and get spit out of the other side's gate of the given in coordinate ^^ *cough* Star Gate*cough* *g*
- A race System, that is mixed with unique races like Charrs, Sylvari and Asuras AND traditional known playable races ,like Dwarfs, Fairies (Pixies) and Centaurs (not to mention Elves/Drows.. when Dwarfs exist in a games lore, then may not Elves be missed, that means that must live somewhere too in the wolrd of GW, but haven't shown themself yet, must live somewhere totally isolated of the rest of the world in holy forests, that are not reachable yet by any other races)
- more (to all kinds of Weapons) somehow to the game... there are so much Fighting Styles yet missing also... fighting with Dual Weapons for example is mostly wanted...
fighting with 2H Swords/Axes also or Battle Staffs and bare handed martial Arts, nunchucks,Whips, claws, lances/halberds/2H battle spears, boomerangs, katars/kunais/shurikens are only a small sum of very nice weapons to name, that are missing for GW yet, not to mention some very nice exotical weapons, like the Scythe is one, there can be exotical weapons, like music instruments for a Minstrel/Bard class or Bladed Fans ect pp. Chain Sickles and and and, the list is endless
- also the game would become awesome with a Combo System, when multiple characters would be able to perform Dual or Tripple Combo attacks together
- more epic boss monsters with epic battles, that really require some strategy to win against them, other then only skill spamming for damage or kiting to lure them into traps or so...
that are no strategies, strategies are, when players have to analyse, how a boss fights against them, to find out the enemies fightign style scheme and then to find out in mid of the battle a good way how to counter the enemies strategy with your own.
Button Smashing we can have with Beat'em up games, but RPG#s should reuire from the players more thinking on how to beat foes, other then only skill spamming through damage pressure

on a 3d globe world map, you just turn so long the globe around, until you hit the point you want to zoom in more, when you want look further, you just zoom out, turn the globe further and zoom again in at the next spot you want to look at

- Non Grind based Gameplay Titles, rest like Sweettooth ,Drunkard ect. can be erased
- Cantha and Elona, those continents should not get abandoned in GW2, the game should start with all 3 continents being explorable
- All Contest Items, the community makes way better looking Stuff, than any of the Designers of Anet imo ... game has hundreds of items, but only like a hand full of them has really the high detailed grade of style, like the contest items have it. Most stuff of anet#s designers compared to the contest items look just boring - so can look weak beginer weapons, but as mightier weapons get, so more powerful must they also look and simple have more style to see a difference between a master's weapon and some cheap standart stuff ...
- Map Travel Ability, but give players also RP alternatives, like rideable and flyable Mounts or buying/creating your own Ship with that you can travel than from point to point and anchor then at port towns (Suikoden 4), because quick travel per map alone is total boring... there you could give players also the ability to learn how to use Teleport Magic by using Rune Stones (Gothic 3), would be the same quick travel system, like map travel, but would have far more Style ...or let us use Asura Gates *cough Star Gates*cough* to teleport from continent to continent, would again have more style, then map travel, but would be the same system...
- Treasure Chests, but remove this Key Crap and make chests be openable by all characters, like Dungeon End Chests can be opened by all characters without usign keyes for them, just click and open and everyone gets something once...

- Bond of balancing between PvE and PvP sharing the same Skill Effects, this is absolutely idiotic and the one who thought out this retarded concept is the dumbest Noob Developer on the World
- Grind Titles which require only massive amounts of Time and are "buyable"
- Hyper rare limitated sourced Minipets, stuff like Kanaxai existing only 28x n a game with 5 million players -.- Just retarded to so somethign like this
- Level Cap of 20 (100 is a good decision, as long the requirements to reach this level are not as retarded, as that it will take ages to reach it... max 1 month of normal playing by say 2-3hours/day) but absolutely not more...
When it goes to the point, that players get forced to play hardcore and to grind dailx for the half day just to have a chance to reach lvl 100 in humanous time, then won't make anet many friends in GW2 for sure, because then will GW2 nothign else, than a hated asia grinder.

- the boring ugly looking battle system, that looks like, as if children play with plastic soldiers - give the game an action based stylish martial battle system a la EVAN-Online, where Placing Strategies are muhc more important and where a player is able to influence the environment into the battle system, for examply by kicking a foe down a cliff or throwing a foe against a rock wall.
And where battle skills will also look more epic, where players will be able to enable in the options a "Brutal Mode", so that blood will be shown and that you will hear sounds, when you break your foe some bones or so XD and that you will hear then hear your foes whimmer on pain, when you hurt them dangerous so that the game will be rated for 16+ and not more for 12 years ...
- Henchmen and stupid heroes, which are AI wise dumber then henchmen -.-, giving players only noobish command options
- Armors, that are only buyable/tradeable through npcs - want to be able to craft own armors and weapons through a crafting system, which will wear own personally names and armors should also drop like weapons from enemies, but they would be "used" and would have only 2/3 of their max defense power - players must repair them first, before they will have full power and before a player would be able to sell them like uncustomized weapons.
This system of GW1 was total senseless, the system of 1/15k max is good, but there is no reason, why armors should not also drop too from enemies...
- 2 Class System or at least improve it with an Evolution System to give the 2 Class System more depth and the whole process of character creation more long term motivation ...
- Factions ... such gameplay is only good, when more than only 2 factions are provided and far more then only 2 competive areas exist for the players so that the whole fighting around the factions won#t become so extreme quick too boring and 1 sided ...
- Gamer Title and other idiotic stuff, that anet enabled to work on only every x months -.-
- idiotic limitations to professions, like necromancer MM's beign able to summon only maximum 10 Minions -.- or that Rangers have to waste 1 skill slot, only to be able to have their pet at their side -.-
Add to/Make the Game:
- Higher Level Cap (100 and not more) with balanced grade of Experience Ladder , so that reaching Lvl 100 takes for an average good player not longer, than maximal 1-2 Months of normal playing without grind training..., simple by normal playing the game's story
- Only unique Non-Wannabe Professions and improve the existing gameplay systems around Character Creation, Character Development, Battling, Skills, Economy, Character Job Abilities ect. pp
- Mounts and general more alternatives for Character Traveling, than Map Travel (Flying/Shipping/Riding/Teleporting)
- Auction Houses and Player Shops for own Districts in Commerce Towns
- Ingame-Mail System for Players (letters beign transported by Birds or littles fairies, which will bring the stuff to their goal and iwll annoy the people so long, until they take the letter lolz) with the option to enable/disable mail from others
- permaplayable Minigames with more depth behind them, other then being playable only every x months and providing us then ever and ever again only the same stuff with the same ugly boring stuff that we know for years...
I want to see an highly improved version of Rollerbettle Racing with like 18 different Race Tracks *.* that would be awesome.. a a Card Minigame a la the one of FF8 about monsters... and each monster in GW2 would have then a chance to drop their Card and at Trader NPC's you could also trade in cards for prizes

- Housing with enterable locations in outposts. venders hsould have their own shops in houses ect. playerds should be able to enter into a Tavern to sit down their characters their on a chair and to order from th bar keeper npc then something, to see how an other Waitress NPC will bring you the stuff, that you ordered ^^ where you could then also private chat with others ...

335A:61F and you will get teleported to the place of the world, that fits to this coordinate

You can't just keep some features and boot some others to make an ideal game. There are many many ones which need tweaking, which are good but not yet perfect. Not even getting into the tons of stuff which definately should be *added* to the game to make it much better.
So this thread is more like "Which GW1 features, current or past, do You like/love/enjoy/consider-good-for-the-game and which do you consider wrong and want them out of your game".

-pve skills (the concept was good, the skills themselves not so)

- inscriptions system (single worst thing that happened to GW)
- infinite BMP reward item generation, there should be limits
- 1 skill "win pve" button that is Ursan -> just balance it (nerf)
- gold items from the exempt from loot scaling list, at least in hard mode... or, well, with removing the inscription system this may be not needed at all..
