It seems that a lot of people are missing the key point here. A-Net said that it would run though noon today. Many people made their plans accordingly. A-net failed to keep their word on this, spoiling the plans of many of their customers.
It's not the worst thing that a gaming company has ever done (ever hear of Nova Logic?), and it won't be the last time one screws up. BUT, when someone, whether it be a business or an individual, says they'll do something, they need to stand by what they've commited to doing!

I was in Kamadan switching districts to use my yuletide tonics. 4 districts. The one in district 4 went for a while after it finished in the other three. I still have about a hundred tonics left.

Um the event did NOT stop early.
I was in kamadan for the final appearence at 12pm Pac.
Got lots of fireworks. I even got some party drops in UW AFTER the event.

it did stop early. but only 2 events were missed before it was fixed

You get more from /violin afking. 21 to be exact. But since the party is over this information is useless.
Also I made Life of the party thanks to this event: gg ANET apart from the problems, a completely acceptable and fun event that didnt even have to be done. So people need to stop whining and enjoy whats given freely.
