I have one, she's fun, looks sexy and kicks butt. Unfortunately she's mostly been rendered obsolete by my sin...who is also sexy and kicks butt...at a significantly faster rate than the warrior.... >.>

Made a few melee chars over the years and they just get deleted after they are level 20. Very boring playing melee imo, when the 'spellcasting chars' have a wide variety of options. I much prefer support.

I have never been a fan of melee, so I've only made a warrior once, but they sit there....all sad and wondering 'why? why don't you play me?'.

Had a warrior, got to Unwaking Waters, farmed with him few times on the Beach, then deleted because he was super-boring. I mean her. And ugly, too.

When i bought the game almost 3 years ago, the first char i made was a warrior...i deleted it 2 weeks later..too boring

Dont have a warrior. Nor a dervish. I just dont like playing melee/frontline. Created them 1000 times already, only to delete them a few boring hours later

Regarding melee classes I have everything and there's nothing that would beat a real warrior, and a real warrior is not the obsidiot tank or the "I haz 1014HP LOL beat dat! worrior" but the 14-wm specced hard hitting damage dealer that interrupts, knocks down and finishes off.
There might be a lot of them here on guru but ingame they are a rare sight.

Well ... umm ... I have 5 warriors.
1st one was my 2nd char was my main char (along with my 1st nec (3rd char)) for a long time, just over 4 mil XP on him.
Started a 2nd one to try for Survivor title, got rank 1 and sort of parked him.
Made 3 more to use as mules, 2 males and a female. Few months ago started playing one of the males and got him to LS but haven't finished any campaigns with him yet, tho almost done with Factions. Working now on getting LS with the female one, just passed 500k XP this morning.
Warrior is fun to play but so are SS necs, rangers and rits.

Having taken out a large amount of warriors (as a necro), I dont like to play them. They're too easy to flatline. I have 5 in total across 3 accts.
The one on my primary has been played to completion of all campaigns. 2 others on this acct are pure mules.
The 2nd acct has one as a mule and the 3rd acct (Proph only) has completed the game and now gathers dust.....
A fave past time is to find a warrior on the (AB) battlefield and meleemance him to death....surprisingly...they come back for more, so incensed are they at being taken down by a "squishy" they seek me out...so we repeat the performance...he goes down...seeks me out...he dies...rinse and repeat. Theres only rarely, and i mean VERY rarely, a warrior that KNOWS what he's doing and will spank me as a warrior should spank a squishy - a nod to post #96 as they are out there, i know... they killed me.... but theyre rare.....
Sins follow a similar path..as long as the first skill is snapped/interrupted invariably theyre dead meat within 5-10 secs.
Necros and mesmers....proof that flashy armor aint worth squat!

I have a warrior. HIs name is I Live For Ectos and is only used for W/Rt ecto farming. If they ever nerf that he'll get deleted.

well in fact the first time i played i made a Female ranger and i have been playing with her for three months at least before i finished most of prophecie, and then .... i created a warrior ^^ and that is my main character now (for wich i grind titles)
Warriors just kick ass, have more choice of weapons and armors, are stronger and are playing in frontline which make them attractive.
I love playing casters and rangers also but i think most players have a character they play more and for me that's warrior (i'm collecting skins that's a reason why i think, just a lots more weaponry to collect with Warriors)
so i'm not surprised that most people have a warrior even if it is not their main character ( i think most people have made a basic healing monk also to join groupe easily in pugs, and most people have made an necro MM and also an Ele meteor shower , and i assume a large number have made a ranger also for taming pets and bow playing)
And i'm talking only about prophecie players, coz u could assume faction player should have a sin or a rit or both, and NF should have a derv or/and Para since that's their particuliar campain profession to try out.
as u could minimize the concept of a group to
1 - tanker warrior
2 - nuker power ele
3 - healing monk
in order to be efficient and viable, i believe those three class must be the most played

I have two, both with 15k Glad Armour.
One used to be my main, and the other (a female) I created because I liked 15k better on her than my other. She has no purpose though, apart from prestige.
Neither get played anymore though, rarely. Although my male warrior does farm UW.

Completley screwed him up, but he still owns...
So I use him for chest running...
Then I made another Warrior,

But I still prefer my Derv/Sin/Ranger over my War.

My warrior is probably the least-played of all my characters, but I worked far too hard when Factions came out to get his 15k Kurzick armor to ever think of deleting him.
I find playing melee generally more fustrating than playing backline. You are more easily messed-with -- slowdowns, blindess, weakness will all ruin your day. Even fully zoomed-out it is much harder to see everything, and your orientation keeps changing. And while hero-henching, if there is a little too much damage for the healers to deal with, I'm always the first to go down when playing melee, but not other professions.
Not to say that warriors aren't a great profession, just not really my cup of tea. It works out well for me that so many other people like playing them.

Ive been playing for 35months, first char was a warrior, got him to level 18 and ive never played him since because...i find warriors boring. I keep him because I can't delete my first char and he's my oldest char by far so i want my third birthday present.
