I made a war after reading this thread even though I said I don't have 1 (deleted my war) but the female reincarnation is more fun with her hammer :P I still prefer mid line anyday.

I made a warrior, promptly ran him to get elite platemail, died it purple, bought him mending and a fds, just so i can noob it up sometimes.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but nothing keeps me from taking [Save Yourselves] on my dervish also, and generally fueling it as quick as a warrior due to hitting multiple targets w/ a scythe.
Sorry, good dervishes dont have much more than 3 utility enchants on their skillbar. And those enchants are usually [Eternal Aura] (if running an avatar), [Aura of Holy Might], or [Heart of Fury] (obviously there are variants). In addition the massive damage from a scythe more than compensates, and guess what you use against block? Theres this neat little skill called Wild Blow!

I've been playing for almost 2 years, although I took a break for about six months, and my warrior is one of my more recent characters. She wasn't my 1st, 2nd, or even 6th choice of profession but I eventually made one. She's not lvl 20 yet though (I don't like the body type of the male warrior so I made a girl. That's my only girl character though

I love playing warrior in PvP but absolutely hate it in PvE. Basically, I have a PvE warrior who I would delete if he was not my first character and I have a PvP warrior with all weapon sets, shield sets, armor and skills which I can't be bothered to get in PvE. So yeah, I do have a warrior, in fact I have 2

Warrior used to be my main, but Dervish and Assassin is so much better. I'm saying this as playing in PvE.

Personally, I have one that's approximately a year old and have put about 70 hours into it.
I made it back when one of my old guilds needed a tactics caller, so I made it, got it to level 20, bought it perfect equipment in about 20 hours of playtime, and the rest is just fooling around in AB mostly.

Tbh I'm not fond of playing warriors, great to have them on my team not so great to play. I think I've tried them multiple times but I still prefer my dervish over warriros.

I just made a warrior, TBH I think they're the easiest to play and master(no offense to you hardcore warriors out there

It's a good starter class IMO. I just think assassins and dervishes kick even more ass. I mean, dual wielding, shadow stepping melee class anyone?

nope. i played dervish before warrior and decided I hated melee so much I never made one.

warrior was my main for 3 years, and i think its finally come to the point that my secondary character, the mesmer, has finally won me over for his spot.
overall, warrior is one of, if not my favorite class in the game.

Got a warrior 37 months old and enjoyed playing him up to 32 months, however in the past 4 months my ele has taken over and actually became my main character.
I play him once every 10 lightyears now, however never gonna delete him.

Wow, a lot of Assassin and Dervish comments. At least I'm smart enough to know that there's more warriors in pvp than anything else. Before you say, "worrior is liek totally ez 2 pleh." I say they're all easy to play. Especially Dervish. Throw on enchants and go. Nothing really complicated there.
Then again, the best players are casters. Even I, someone who gets bored of casting will admit that. Well, all the casters but elementalists. ;P

I have a warrior, and I tried nearly every other class in the game and still love it. The other profession I enjoyed almost as much as the warrior as the dervish. I'm just a fan of big things that cut.
Usually play as a monk as well, and when I'm not pugging as healer, I throw on my sword and shield and go do some close combat damage mixed with a few smiting skills.
Meh I guess I just love melee. Sitting in the back casting whatever spells just sounds to boring for me.

Once it got to where everyone and their grandmother was running around in post with a warrior, mine got the delete and I made a monk. There will always be 50 warr's lfg but monks get invited automatically.

I played Monk first 3 years ago when I started. I then created a Warrior (which I didn't play a lot) and then Ranger, Necro, etc....

its not the easiest class if you go to the deep or do things like that.
hes beat every campaign and deep on HM and NM.

My Warrior is my oldest character and I still play it a lot, but my favorite character is my Necromancer. In past rpgs - Diablo, Baldur's Gate and their like, I always played a mele char. it's what gets me into my role play state of mind I suppose - but the Necro brings out a darker side of my role playing - and allows me more possibilities for effective play. So, even though my Warrior is several months older, my Nec is quickly catching up in experience.
