Cale Roughstar
all keyboard buttons for movement and targeting.
skills I mostly click, with the exceptions of healing and interrupts. Infuse/major interrupt always on 4, other important skills on 1-5. Click on 6-7-8, as that is where I put my high energy-long recharge skills.

I use 1-8 for skills. 1 through 5 or 6 i use the keyboard, 7 and 8 either i'll look at the keyboard and hit it, or just click the skill on the skillbar (tho, my skillbar is dragged to the left so that skills number 7 and 8 are roughly in the bottom center of the screen) Also, i tend to use skills number 7 and 8 for least used skills like resses and long time enchants, spirits, paragons echoes and such.
For moving, one of the first things i changed when i first started playing this game was disabling "click to move" movement, and thus i only use WASD, QE, and R.
Weapon swapping f1-f4 as default.
I changed "select nearest item" to Left-Shift so that it's closer to me and i don't need to hunt the item on the screen.
I hardly ever play a "healer' type class, but when i do i use the num pad numbers to select party members (and when doing so i just don't use the mouse). 1-9 are for party members.
f5 = hero flag 1
f6 = hero flag 2
f7 = hero flag 3
f8 = all henchies flag
In battle, i'll only use the mouse once for selecting the first target, or not even so if someone calls it firstly, then i'll just hit T. Otherwise, it's just Tab to cycle between targets and T to follow targets ... C , spacebar, F to target self... yeah, basicly all about the keyboard, ahh i also use Z to drop held item on the ground, and V to select nearest Ally.

depends on the situation....I usually use the mouse to walk and click the skills, but occasionally I use the numbers and wasd to move around as well as the arrow keys....or I mix them all together (when I play interupter I leave my mouse on the interupt skill and use the numbers for other ones.....just seems faster to me for some odd reason.)
Age
I use wasd as well but I do use my mouse to move and click on party members names.This when I play Monk I use the party window so I don't run up front.I use the full 1 to 8 skill 1 to 4 being the most of importance 5 to 8being utility.I am lefty the keyboard isn't set up to well for us.

Hint: there's an infinite number of them, and no general way to tell them apart.
Buster
WASD ftw, hardly ever used click to move.
Kityn
I use the wasd and mouse for movement and click on my skills and also use 1-8 keys. Totally depends on what I am doing while in combat.
Dark-NighT
Standard wsad, skills 1-8 as usual, the only thin i got different is the auto run and closest target, which are neatly found on my mouse 2 side buttons, may sound a bit weird to you but its actually quite usefull.

And to answer the question, how about the single point in the 3d space where the topside of a surface one could conceivably stand on intersects the total collection of points this click could refer to, should such a single point exist? For ease of programming, you might want these surface-intersection points to be the only ones you consider to begin with.

Keyboard for movement and skills. Tab for selection except in rare cases when the mouse is used instead. Mouse for camera and flagging.
Tyla
I click to move.
F1-8 for targetting party members, F9-12 for weaponsets.
1-8 for skills.
- for logging out.
The rest remain the same.
I recently changed it and am getting used to it, though.
They key is, it forces you to watch the field and such, and gives you more notice of what you're doing.
Something I've not been doing lately...
