So, let me get this straight.... some of you actually agree that its OK for ANet to break their own rules and act with impugnity....oh and give YOUR (and my) money away to people that break rules....

A bit of wisdom from forums where I moderate and have to apply this saying for those who want to try and get around rules:

To make an exception for this, they would have to make exceptions for all the others. To all those who came before, this wouldn't be fair to them. This is why no exceptions should be or will be allowed.

Them making exception previously eh?

The Dupers.... how many escaped (primarily cos they either knew a member of staff, related to a member of staff etc etc)
Mallyx exploit.... an "interesting" choice of a "ban threshold" number
Real life cash for Rank, Gank and Smurf....
and theres more, thru the 3 years but why labour the point.

Oh I think theres a growing list of "possible" exceptions....

Trust is something earned and cherished. Why should we trust a company that break its own rules?

When you get away with something long enough the rules all turn grey....
IS this whats happening? Contempt from the very people that administer the game? Its looking like it from here.

When does a blase attitude to your own rules turn into Corruption I wonder?
