So lets get back on topic....

I'd be happy if such a command is implemented, I've got body-blocked too many times without me noticing.

Maybe Anet could give us the option to hotkey the other emotes as well.

Get your self a programable keyboard /end problem.
The bodyblocking "perpetual rubberband" problem is a bug whereby your client fails to appropriately update your actual position on the playing field until you either use /stuck, an emote, or interact with something else (e.g. by c-spacing to attack the bodyblocker that isn't anywhere near you, according to your client). It's a bug that ANET has been unable or unwilling to fix for a very long time now. Having to buy new computer hardware because they screwed up some programming logic somewhere is unacceptable. It comes down to "my keyboard works fine, their game doesn't, it's there problem".

And problem solved. And you can even make it any key/mouse button/key combination you want!
Thanks for the info. I was able to map 16 or so of the emotes I use to a Windows Key/letter combo. Way cool.

BTW, it's easy to find -- www.autohotkey.com.

It takes you two or three seconds to type /stuck?

I especially hate it when I have to hear over vent that I'm rubberbanding when I thought I was just about to cap. I've wanted a stuck command for ages, then again I'd like better servers such that the desynch doesn't happen as often. While talking on that matter, I'm sick of hitting an earthshaker in UW and knocking down three people on complete opposite sides of the map, can we get a /stuck that refreshes everyone's position (also, server)?

if u want a hotkey for it, u will have to get a keyboard that can do it. btw, u only have to type /stuck, not enter 1st. that will take one key out of the number of keys u have to type and increase speed by a fraction of a second;-) lols

And then just stop typing anything else and use [Enter][Up][Enter] anytime you want to use stuck.

No reasons why we should have it, but it's not like there are any better reasons why we shouldn't have it. Hotkeys ftw.

Why not?
If is useful for someone and is not a source of exploits to harm other players, I don't see a reason to /notsign.

I've never even played HA and I can tell how annoying that would be.

Not really, a hotkey that does something that's already in the game can't be compared to a build. Plus, teams would ALWAYS have access to it, whereas they don't have access to the other team's build during a match. I don't PvP much, but I know how much of a pain it is to type in /stuck, and then realize you were already unstuck by the time you hit enter.

No real reason not too, is there? And it'd be dead useful in keeping you from being dead.

Since somebody replied to my post from 9 months ago, I'd like to reiterate my response.

If anything, I think they should REMOVE the ability to spam (maybe say, a 2 minute cool down) /stuck all together, not make it easier. Lag happens, and it is abusive to be able to spam /stuck with a programable keyboard like you can now. The current situation gives people who have a superior gaming rig with a programmable keyboard an unfair advantage over people who don't. Rather then give everybody that advantage, A.net should just remove it altogether.

People should play anticipating lag. If you are skilled enough to be able to win AND still overcome the occasional rubberband, then that says more about your ability.

Those three seconds can (and will) cost you match. Even 1/4s maneuver (enter/ctrlv/enter) is too much.

So wrong on so many levels that it is kind of awesome.
