things in guild wars that you HATE
Voodoo Rage
I haven't read this whole thread, so it's probably been mentioned. I hate that "perfect" weapons are so readily attainable. To me, the hallmark of any role playing game is that you slowly work your way up to the most powerful weapons and skills.

I hate the people who bought GW without knowing shit about it. Then go on to complain about the very game design and mechanics that were touted as key core elements - the very same things that attracted the original playerbase to begin with. Ignorance this deep can only be uprooted with a zealous use of fire and shotgun shells.
The only things worse than these people, as far as GW is concerned, were the decisions by Anet to allow this scourge of a group to lead their successful experiment with amazing potential away from a road of inexplicable 'incredible-ness' and instead headfirst off the cliff of half-assed me-too-ism.
Some examples of what was talking about in first paragragh:
Ease of accessibility to max equip
Importance of improving player skill rather than relying on stronger items
Talent over time philosophy
General focus on the casual MMO/competitive gamer
The level cap
Eight skills per bar

There are only three things that I really really hate about this game.
1) That people can set their status to offline or 'do not disturb,' but still continue messaging other people, usually with something bothersome.
2) That RA synching is still prevalent and, even if reported, has nothing done against it.
3) That people tout titles as proof that a player has skill, rather than the truth of them having way too much time to waste on grinding.
And just a side note, that the people in control of skill balancing are a bunch of twat mongering asshats who should be shot before they ruin the game much further... That's all.

Nobbs in AB that dont show rank; but call you a noob when you refuse to ping your build! I know faction can also be gained by hfff, so rank does not say much; but still. My build is just that mine! And it rocks cause plenty of players on both sides have complimented me in game. I put much effort in creating it;and would rather leave/ get cicked than give it away.
Branlord
Honestly i really wasn't that fond of this games storyline. I feel like it was made up in like a couple days, don't hate my opinion.

Oh, and I don't hate, but people like you annoy me. They waste your time by requiring you to invite AND kick them...

On the other hand, I love noobs who try to call other people noobs but instead call them nobbs. Very funny.

While there's nothing I can say I outright HATE (aside from Litthe Thom), there are a few things that drive me up the wall. They've probably been mentioned back and forth, but here goes again.
First- the trading system. If I want to sell or buy something, I do NOT want to hang around Lion's Arch or wherever, spamming "WTS/WTB _______"" for three hours straight. That was the one thing I really liked in World of Warcraft. You toss up what you want to sell, stick a price tag to it, then skip along your merry way to do things other than stand around and spam things.
Second- people who run around with highly uncreative/terrible builds and call it the best thing ever.
Third- lack of paragon love. Those poor, poor paragons.

I wouldn't call it hate, but I don't like the fact that GW-gear is "mundane" and non-extraordinary. The only thing that differentiates one weapon from the other is the graphics. Otherwise they are all completely bland stats-wise. Yes, I know GW-gear was designed this way with PVP in mind so that no one has a decided edge over the other, but now that skills have distinct PvP/PvE stats, why can't this be extended to gear?
I would love to see PvE-only items that grant clickable or proc's effects that are completely unique (A bow that adds +2 archery and has a 20% chance to barrage while auto-attacking, daggers that add +2 to dagger mastery that can inflict poison degen 20%, etc...). Such items will add more depth to pve without impacting pvp. It would definitely add a new dimension to GW gear that is present in other MMO's like WoW, EQ, D2, etc...
Such items would have regular stats in PVP to maintain balance. They would have to be difficult to obtain (present only in elite zones, requiring involved quests, etc...), but they would give PVE GW players something else to shoot for.

I hate people hating... oh wait
In all seriousness, I could say noobs, newbs and such... but it's not their fault. I mostly dislike the attitude of people that give up as soon as something goes wrong or is not perfect from the beginning. Where's the challenge in winning stuff without any noticeable resistance?

The player base largely irritates me... In particular I dislike the wannabe awesome nub players.
The wammos in full obby armor who stand in RA with endure pain, defy pain, lions comfort, mending, healing breeze, and mending touch then brag about how nothing can kill them yet their damage output is equivalent to that of a critter you didn't kill in 1 hit.
The fire eles that use meteor shower on single mob pulls in PvE.
The sin that shadow steps 3-4 bubbles away and then screams, 'omfg nub monk couldn't keep me up' and ragequits immediately after being rezzed.
The guy who bought a few million gold, was run through the entire game, bought all the titles, has GWAMM, and can't outplay someone in non-max armor who actually played through the game.
Those people agitate me.

1. Those who buy elite armor and come to Shing Jea and dance so everyone can adore his achievements in getting "cool" stuff.
2. Elitists.
3. "gimme 50g for storage!" or "hey, you seem to have elite armor! In my math, elite armor = rich person -> gimme money!"
4. Those who seem to want to marry your female character.
5. Asuras. I really hate them. Because they are such a RPG cliché.. Oh my gods.
6. People like this:

7. Non-english speaking people. I am not native english speaker myself, but I speak it well. Try to get a german speak english, it's gonna be terrible.
8. Those who speak like this:
In thirsty river.
Me: "LFG Mission + Bonus!"
Idiot: "You need a necro to bonus, are you are necro?"
Me: "..No.."
Idiot: "EXACTLY!!!!!!!! ASDASDASD"
Me: "You ain't a necro either."
Idiot: "So???!!!! ASDASD LFG I GOT HUGE BALLS"
9. those who dont write correctyl englies, forgetpunctuation and use huge amount examatio mark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10. Eyeglasses. Those with eyeglasses, especially female characters, are most annoying things in GW. I don't know why I hate them, but eyeglasses are maybe a symbol of wisdom or even sexiness, telling about the elitism of the user.
10 things that I dislike in GW. I'm not superior person myself, but as Marcus Aurelius put it, "best way to avenge is not to become same".

I don't really "hate" these people, but I want to /facepalm whenever someone flames me for well-meant advice.
Lately I've been playing quite a lot of AB and I make a point to never start out with insults... if I pick up an ele without fire attune but with conjure flame, I won't insta-kick him for being a terrible player but point out that fire attunement will improve his energy a lot and he won't need to wand stuff for damage. Yeah, he won't turn into a good player instantly, but maybe that little suggestion will help him on his way there.
A recent memorable one was an A/R with a bow (longbow) on the other side. I PMed him that he should try a recurve because it's harder to dodge, but he instead he unleashed an epic fury of STFU NOOB at me in local chat.
EDIT: The "my build is secret" people do get an instant kick though. Those are beyond help. >.>

No action house, not being able to ID and sell all my items at once and most of all the braindead people that seem to infest some places in GW. Sometimes people do such unbelievablely stupid things, in pve and pvp, I begin to wonder how they can survive every day in RL.
Branlord
1. Grouping with people for a quest that do even worst than doing it solo with heroes and henchmen.
2. People flirting with other people. God knowing that the other person maybe be a guy playing a girl toon. Just plain strange.
3. pre searing and prop was just a waste of space.
4. somethings in the game that mimic wow i.e kilroy stoneskin=leeroy jenkins?

the one thing in guild wars i hate most is how bad most people are at it.
oh, and how easily many people seem to get offended. this isn't really unique to guild wars though, it's a problem in the real world too.

That really makes my day though. I should put out some funny convos I have screened, but I can probably summarize it in one phrase:
"im no noob. I have rank 6 gladiator!"
Scattered Dose
i hate the fact that you cant jump and not being able to explore everywhere and jump around and climb on buildings and stuff like that
Mars Dragonblade
When a simple suggestion or idea sprouts up in Sardelac that everyone and their granny /signs or that has been requested since before time began, ANet pay no attention to it what so ever regardless of how it might improve their popularity or the gameplay.
When people in towns and outposts or occasionally alliance chat ask questions in the form of statements, eg "someone will help me with quest?", "someone will lend me x gold to buy <item>?" or "someone has <item> I could buy?".

Last night:
ME: WTS 14 Gold UNIDS for Wisdom Title 700g each
<moron>: How much?
ME: 700g each
<moron>: Can I see?
Oh OK, I'm feeling charitable, so I throw up a trade window (the guy obviously is not a wisdom seeker).
<moron>: I only want the q9 req
Oh OK, I'll be a nice guy. So I pick out 4 Q9's out of the bunch for him.
<moron>: How much?
ME: 700g each
<moron>: Can I see the rest?
ME: You already saw them
<moron>: Want to see again.
Starting to lose my patience, but I will be a good guy. So I add in 3 more and re-submit.
<moron>: How much?
ME: Still the same, 700g each
<moron>: How much is that?
ME: 700x7 = 4900
<moron>: UR A NOOB. 3k
ME: BYE
Then the guy keeps spamming me after that until I ignore him...
(I guess this falls into "I hate people who waste my time").

Think you're playing the wrong game. Anet intentionally wanted to make the game less gear based and more skill based, it was one of their selling points. It also makes PvP more balanced when skill, not gear, determines the outcome. That's why they give you so many avenues to get "perfect" weapons, and they don't have consumables in PvP like many other games do.
