I agree on many points...the tomes, the r/q the hom blunder (and yes I do have more than one character working on it--there is nothing stopping you from doing more than one!), minipets, the fame spamming....
I will also add pve and pvp being in the same game---having to be 'attached' to each other. When things get changed in one they get changed in the other----NO NO NO NO NO!!!! I never picked this game up to pvp!
reused hats when they specifically said they would never do that!
things in guild wars that you HATE

I hate when I whisper someone in party search to buy some lockpicks or whatever they're selling, and they're AFK. They just blow off everyone who wants to buy from them and go afk. They don't take their party search message off, nor do they put themselves as "away" on the friends window.
I also don't like when I whisper a seller to buy something and he/she sends me some pre-typed generic message. I just find that rude. If they can't manually type "sure", do the transaction, then a simple "ty", I'd rather buy from someone else.
Also the particular gamers who have nothing to do with the creation and programming of Guild Wars, which is all the gamers, who for some reason decide what is legitimate and what is not in the game. Not everyone does this but some do. What I mean is that is that I was in a guild that was supposedly a title hunting guild. But basically the leader, or at least an officer, later said that everyone is supposed to do it themselves. He said that if someone can't vanquish with h/h, he/she didn't "earn it." As if he is the one to decide that. I'm sure the people who actually made the game would disagree. They made the game so any ideas of "earning" anything is up to them. They created the Ursan option so that makes it as legitimate as any other method, no matter how easy it makes the effort.

I was thinking I'd put what everyone else seems to be puting:
Bad Players...but,
The thing that is the biggest waste of Time, to me, is when you're skill capping and the new random elite takes priority over the original. So you get back to a town, and have to fix everything or create a template that adds the cap sig back in and puts your elite back on.
-_- I hope it's not just annoying me...

Grind
more Grind for titles
Low drop rate for ECTO as opposed to the high drop rate it used to be when the game was released.
PvP skills the same as PvE skills
Paragon Nerfs (can you make this wonderful class suck any more?)
Hall of monuments for EVERY CHARACTER when it should be Account based.

the players. basically. I gave up on PUGs long ago and I've never found a guild that I liked being in.
Proph and Factions not having inscrib weps. Proph being 10x better than Faction and NF.
Very few really rare goodies. Also, the almost dismal chances of getting the ONE I want without buying it from someone. for 100k +xx ecto.
A player with War primary can go out with another char on his accout and farm the hell out of something and eventually get the sword (example) that he's looking for. That sword WILL BE req.X Swordsmanship. I go out to farm Staff X and eventually get one, but the odds of it being Req.X Curses are? ? what?, 1 in 21!
This is one area where GW is FLAWED.

I really don't hate stuff in guild wars that much.. its just annoying so I just go on to my secondary game and headshot people with pistols/revolvers.
1.Crappy Skills, we as the players have little power to change Izzy's mind about skills.
2.Those damn whiners about how proph was the best and only core professions can play gvg.
3.Titles, I thought GW was anti-grind. Fame is different, you get a cool emote from it.
4.Getting stuck at random points and having to type /stuck a few times before I can get out.
5.How people are always looking for people with ranks in ha and gvg experience when a guild is recruiting. Most people in this game don't have that much gvg experience as it is.
6.Those people that call you noob for kicking their ass in ra/ta/ab.
7.Loot Scaling.
8.The crappy state of the gvg meta where in 3/4 teams you have your shock axe warrior.
9.How much I am gonna get flamed for ^
10.How you still can't go into an outpost without doing the primary/mission in factions.

Hate is a too strong a word for my feelings in this matter but I dislike...
-Grinding titles
-Ursan Blessing (only because I find it boring and finding non-UB groups in high end areas is very difficult)
-Players with no sense of good sportsmanship
-Rude or obnoxious players in general
-People who always want the easy way out.
-People who ask for advice or help but ignore the suggestions of more experienced players and generally act like they already know it all.
-Blaming every single little mistake on lag. Seriously lag is a pain but we all make mistakes.

inscription system - single worst thing that has happened to pve
character-based HoM - terrible joke and a Disappointment of the Year 2007
complete lack of any trading system, having to spend long long hours spamming WTS
1 skill "win pve" button that is Ursan -> just balance it (nerf)
poor armor reskins and lame reuses of the same dungeon maps in GW:EN, and marketing them all as new and unique
getting "A new build of Guild Wars is available..." after winning HoH for 40 fame... then getting to know it was a very very minor update - they shouldn't do them in hours of highest play intensity unless critical.
But I still love GW and can't find a better game overall
