Shadow Form Nerf (against pvp usage)

Just recently I've seen more and more of these Shadow Form 24/7 people in PVP, I would want to see a nerf to end this problem.
NERF suggestion:
Disable Shadow Form for 60 seconds when you use it.
Penalty MUST BE ABOVE 50 seconds or else it would most like able to sustain
Description currently:
Full: For 5...17 seconds, all hostile spells that target you fail and all attacks against you miss. When Shadow Form ends, lose all but 5...41 Health.
Concise: (5...17 seconds.) Hostile spells targeting you fail, and attacks against you miss. End effect: lose all but 5...41 Health.
CHANGE to:
Full: For 5...17 seconds, all hostile spells that target you fail and all attacks against you miss. When Shadow Form ends, lose all but 5...41 Health. This skill is disabled for 120...60 seconds.
Concise: (5...17 seconds.) Hostile spells targeting you fail, and attacks against you miss. End effect: lose all but 5...41 Health. This skill is disabled for 120...60 seconds.
Reason: Simply theres ppl out there just being annoying and use shadow form in Hero'es Ascent, and Guild Vs Guild

Their team is very gimmicky, maybe Anet should nerf that.
If your so frightened of Shadow Form sins, stick a Signet of Disenchantment on that Rt/Mes. It sucks, but it's formulated to combat a skill that sucks.

SF builds suck, in that they do no damage. However, you can grief with a SF build if you can keep it up forever since only a select small set of skills in the game can get thru it. I think good HA teams can easily beat it because of Frozen Burst and other types of AoE, however in the 4v4 game, unless they are running toucher, its a good way to make the other team play the whole 8 minutes

It's no fun to play against, but if you don't have something to deal with it, and don't see enough reason to put a skill in your build to deal with it, you just have to live with it then.

Dude, the skill doesn't need to be nerfed just because you had a bad experience lol.
1.There should be plenty of ways to counter it; I don't do much pvp, but I use perma sf to farm in pve because I rather enjoy the feeeling of constantly being kept alert to my circumstances.
2.Even with the so-called "invincibility", though, there are so many problems with it, so many things that can get through: traps, pbaoe, targeted aoe on a nearby ally of his, damage redirection skills, "punishment" skills, touch skills, Disenchantment, skills that aren't spells, ranger spirits, etc.
3.Its best used on mobs that have minimal to no healing, as three of your skills are used up in the combo, another couple are used for emanagement, and even so, lots of the builds make heavy use of pve skills for their damage output.
Basically, stop whining, all nerfing it would do is hurt people who use it to farm; perhaps your really just scheming to try to raise the price of some commodity which you feel nerfing perma sf would make more valuable

Seriously though, that was really clever. And yes, I'm one of those pve people who love it. Its a farming technique that's actually more exciting than watching paint dry, and which challenges one to get clever to use in different areas. I understand that some skills need to be balanced for pvp and that sometimes that hurts farming builds, and while I can't say that I like the fact, I don't object to it, as I respect the pain imba-ness can cause to pvpers. However, I'm being so vocal on this issue because this isn't a balance issue, and I don't want such an interesting combo to be destroyed by the shameless whining of a few people either too lazy, too stupid, or too stubborn to even adapt just a little.

here is a real answer to your problem, "Live with it!!"
The skill has been nerfed already, making it almost useless in PvE and an annoying in pvp, but the real point is that the player is using themselves as a distraction while the other players sack the sins target or other targets.
Sorry to break the fact that you can't see tactics in use, and even if the player is being annoying, who cares, just play the game.
A better solution to pvp is to make it like a FPS game, no spells, or limited spells, and 4 hits kill, reguardless of armor or weapons or spells used. No healing no rezing, limited range. Thus the game is balanced.

Use Shock, AoE on their healers (they have them, do they? if not, spike their ghostly and heal out damage they try to deal) and a mesmer with signet(s). Wards, well of profane, touchers ;d and that's it. I've met once team with 6 a/me, pretty stupid game. Kill their monks, try to knockdown assassin/interrupt him with a non-attack and non-spell skill and that's it, rinse and repeat. Or kill monks, kill ghostly and wait till the time ends. Boom, free fame ;o
