I have my own variation of a [[Fevered Dreams] build tailored to fit 3 heroes no matter my prof, because it only takes 3 spots, I can rely on the rest of the team to hit the mobs enough to make mass dazing useful.
I agree the AI does not handle it flawlessly but the use of AoE gives me a better chance of actually hitting the foe that needs to be hit.

This last one is only here to cause burning, and its main function is to hex as many foes as possible with [[Mark of Rodgort] but it is pretty good at exploiting the AI too.

This build worked quite well in unlocking the skills for the others when I played it in RA (with [[Life] Swapped for [[Recovery]) but with large mobs and especially when used by AI it has a problem aiming the blind onto the fevered mob.
Mobs fortunately are less interested in killing the shadowsong spirit.

Temple Strike sucks, 7 seconds of conditions with 13 seond downtime for 15e... no thanks sorry.

Wouldn't it help to have another mesmer (or someone who can spare an elite slot) bring [extend conditions]?
I'd think that extending the conditions means re-applying them with a longer duration, which means that a) you can keep those nasty conditions like Daze and Blind on your target for so much longer, and b) since the conditions are re-applied, they're re-sent to everyone in the area, due to fevered dreams, giving everyone that longer duration.
Also, it can be used to give mass-burning, if used correctly. [searing flames] has a 7 second burn time at 14 fire. If you are fast, and extend the condition to 14 seconds with a 14 spec inspiration, and you can keep up the burning indefinitely.
Lots of burning can also be attained through [burning speed], although it requires your frontliner to spec into fire. I guess a conjure/cripslash could do the job, seeing as he's already speccing into that.
