Make all 3 skills "above average" (instead of ridiculously powerful or useless) and allow the players to use the remaining 3 slots for their skill of choice to promote build creativity.

Nothing is more boring than pre-made builds. Interesting idea. But I'm afraid you could make you're builds even more totally overpowering then.

I can imagine way too many nice things I could do with that.

Energy management skills ?
Permanent SQ on an Ursan ?
Self healing Ursans ?
Casting maintained enchantments after entering blessing with that fixed -2 degen ?
Aftershock to follow up those aoe KD's ?

How about [Aura of Faith]?
Compared to Healer's Boon:
Only works on one ally, vs every healing spell you cast.
Costs 10e instead of 5e.
1s cast vs 1/4th cast.
No increase of cast time vs 50% fast cast time.
Requires 15! divine favor to reach 50% heal buff, where healers boon is always 50%.

Right now it would be underpowered even compared to normal skills.

[Wastrel's Demise] make it AoE.
[Ineptitude] lower the recharge a bit.
[Chaos Storm] 5e and a lower recharge (10 perhaps) would make consider to bring it on my bar.
[Mighty Throw] only good on spirit strength ritus
["The Power Is Yours!"] another useless elite.
[Panic] a lower energy cost would be nice.
WY needs to be brought back where it was.

[Aura of Faith] affects all heal sources whereas [healers boon] only affects healing prayer spells , so you will also be helping a [healing signet] warrior with it as he gains 24%-50% more health when using healing signet

and its not underpowered compared to normal skills cause [Life Attunement] is the normal skill of it and requires to be maintained and the ally wich you cast in on also deals 30% less damage

I assume it can be used in PVE fairly decently. Have a monk cast it on a dead party member after a minion master exploits the corpse, and then kill him as soon as he/she is rezzed to exploit the corpse again without the player inccuring more death penalty.

Problems I see: too long of a recharge, player must bring another hard rez, player must anticipate a wipe (hard mode? lol). Way better options, in my opinion.

The non-elite version, [Gale], causes exhaustion, does no damage, and has 1 second less knockdown. I could see, perhaps, two eles working together to take down a monk. Water/earth hex to slow monk down --> [Gust] --> [Lightning Surge] --> [Lightning Orb] x2 (of course, the other ele would have lightning surge). A lot of damage, in my opinion. Sure, there may be better builds out there, but with all these spells around, why not do something creative?

While there is an advantage to having the next spell vs next damage source (you probably wouldn't want to have the enchantment removed by a simple melee attack :P), it's too conditional for general PVE. A shorter recharge would be nice (5 seconds, say) because you would be able to enchant a whole team fairly easily before fighting a spell casting boss that does AOE damage... could work kinda like pain inverter :P. I could see myself having a lot of fun with it with a shorter rechange. Either that or make it the next 1..3..4 spells.

My vote goes to [Watch Yourself]. Revert to the way it used to be or increase the number of hit (at least...)

Is it wish-list time? Cool!

[Mark Of Fury] - Target + Adjacent. Blood has no AoE hex and MoF is pretty weak compared to DF.
["Incoming!"] - Give x dmg reduction (not percentage) for a longer time.
[Ebon Escape] - Can now target foe. Gives sins a fun shadow step pve skill with better recharge without hurting anything.

All your skills except Smiting Prayers are disabled for 10 seconds. Target foe and adjacent foes take 30...90 holy damage. Animated undead struck by Ray of Judgment are set on fire for 3...8 seconds.

For 3 seconds, target foe and adjacent foes take 30...90 holy damage each second. Animated undead struck by Ray of Judgment are set on fire for 3...8 seconds.

Make it 3 second cast...

dev update.
But otherwise, [ritual lord] , [discord] and [Light of Deliverance] got decent updates, while [incoming] and [defensive anthem] were kinda disapointing

Permanent SQ on an Ursan ?
Self healing Ursans ?
Casting maintained enchantments after entering blessing with that fixed -2 degen ?
Aftershock to follow up those aoe KD's ? That's why these skills would be adjusted to be "above average", meaning Ursan would be nerfed.

An example of an Ursan nerf to allow build creation may be something like...

Ursan Strike - Only hits once instead of twice
Ursan Rage - Has 50% chance to knock down adjacent foes
Ursan Roar - No longer deals additional damage

Adding in more e-management would allow perma Ursan, but it won't be totally overpowering since Ursan will be less powerful than its current state. SQ would allow more spamming of Ursan skills but SQ has long rechage and won't make a nerfed Ursan broken good. Likewise, self healing on perma Ursan won't mean much in its nerfed state, either. Ursan's e-management isn't so powerful that maintaining enchants would be so useful on an Ursan. Again, in its nerfed state, adding Aftershock won't make it overpowered.

In other news, [life sheath] so much potential, wasted. How many area's in PvE do you care about interrupts and enchant strips in? 2? Not to mention if the AI is locked on to your character and has an interrupt ready you pretty much get interrupted whether the cast is 3/4ths second or 5 seconds. AI sees an interruptable skill, AI will interrupt it

[Ritual Lord] Still sucks because spirits suck. Far too much energy and the spirits still have their health nerfed. GO GO [Displacement], an aegis which lasts a grand total of 4 hits, ohh and it costs more and takes longer to cast. [Union] costs 15 energy and takes a 5 second cast to prevent as much damage as a two casts of [Orison of Healing]. Yes, its WORSE then spamming orison. [Shelter] is the only defensive spirit that has a hope of being useful, but it still sucks with Ritual Lord because you aren't going to have energy to cast a 25e skill two times in a battle while casting your other spirits. Even if you did, thats using 50 energy to put a party wide [protective spirit] that lasts around 8 hits, but for 50 energy a monk could have just cast protective spirit 5 times on the majority of the party and had the effect for most of the battle.

Golden Skull Strike. I have yet to see how IMBA it actually is when it is so conditional to inflict it in the first place. And unlike Temple Strike, it doesn't comes with cover conditions. Unless they reduce its requirements or reduce its recharge or change it to a lead attack, its definitely not going to be on any sin's bar.
