Hello. This guide is what has evolved form Lord Bleyz team build, and the many stratagies contained in his guide are similar here, yet in another sense everything is different. here is the build:

This sin has radicaly changed the way we clear UW. Geyski Mcdougal is the one that introduced this build to me and together we brainstormed how to make this work and syncronize with the team. it has greatley sped up the main team and terra tank 1 as you will see.This sin has teh hardest role in the team, as he can not fail or it puts everyone bach 15 minutes or so.

i also run only 1 healer and the other monk is a mimic ursan90% of the time.
he only enters monk mode if the healer is getting overwealmed.

Now for the tactics. REmember these are team tactics and NOT individual guides on each part. there are already guides on those.
this build is not noob proof. and not easy to pull off. its for the players that want a new challenge
first 5 quests
Clear The Chamber
Escort of Souls
Wrathful Spirits
Servents of Grenth
Unwanted Guests
Upon entry, as soon as all 8 players are loaded in, the lead tank establishes agro with the ataxes, and then one person applies consumables While the Woh monk mimics ursan off the other tank.
As soon as the ataxes lock on the warrior one terra tank takes the quest
Clear The Chamber.
The assin imidieatley splits off from hear heading to the stairs nearest the smites and accululates all the graspings and ataxes there at once and begins tanking/killing them in a safe spot.
as soon as the ursan team has killed thier first group of ataxes and graspings,
they go back, down to the pedistal AVOIDING the next group of ataxes, and around to where th asassin is killing his group. by then these are half dead,
and the ursans establish a wall and finish killing while the terra tanks take care of any leaky agro.here is a map of what i mean

Once those are dead the sin splits off again and pre-clears all the ataxes and graspings in the main labbyrinth area and pops the reaper for the main group.
In the mean time while the sin clears this the main group clears out the way for the terras to split.
Here is the way they split and thier tasks. remember this all happens simultaniously, and not one at a time.
terra 1-smites to clear only the west half and pop the reaper safley.(refer to the terra tanking uw guide in the farming section for details on how)
Once reaper is up, imiediatley proceeds to the Chaos Planes.DO NOT stand there waiting for someone to come take the quest! do not stand there waiting to take the quest for the sin either.
If the reaper is up your done.*NOTE* remeber to kill the patrol of coldfires that stray near the ice king! and kill all the smites that may agro to the sin while he completes the quest there.

Terra 2 and 3
imediatley break off and start to run up the mountain even befire the ataxes are dead, the terras should already be gone.
terra 3 then stops just before the entrance to the CHaos Planes, and kills the returning patrol of Charged Blackness that will patrol there.
*This is important and must not be neglected or Terra 1 will not be able to enter the chaos planes to clear the area for you later on.*

Meanwhile terra tank 2 imidieatley caries on into the one Pits and clears this area out.

found in the farmin section of this thread that demonstrate the corict rout up the mountain and exactly witch patrol of Charged Blackness to kill.

During this time the ursan team has continued thier corese proceeding to town once they have safley sent the terra tanks on thier way.

As soon as the main group has reached the Reaper Of The Labyrinth, they let the sin know they are there. then they continue on to kil Bladed ataxes on the way to Forgotten Vale, and tells the asassin to take Escort Of Souls, and Restoring Grenths Monuments.
*NOTE* escort of souls is done as the ursans are on the way to town. they do NOT pre clear the whole area, but instead "power throgh " the hard way.

this is where non experianced players fail. they agro the mindblades right into the monks and run around like chickeds with thier heads cut off and a new soul dies. the new souls are left in the care of the heal monk, and can keep the souls out of harms way by staying back. the ursan warriors can solo those mindblades with no healing at all, so the ocasional heal party is useful here.

the instant the new souls cross the bridge entering into Vale, the lead warrior tells the asassin its safe to begin Unwanted Guests. Ursan team continues to clear out vale and does Wrathful Spirits.

/age here and you should see a timer around7-10 minutes.

this build is not noob proof. and not easy to pull off. its for the players that want a new challenge

the asassin then begins killing his way to the Ice wastes, (by this teim terra tank 1 is LONG gone) and then takes AND completes his own quest there Servents Of Grenth.

During this time, the main group has already begun Wrathful Spirits.
Once this quest is complete, the ursan team moves on backtracking the same wya they pre-cleared for the terra tanks, and at around 12-15 minutes they are on the way up the mountain to clear out that monument and do Demon Asassin quest.

By this time, terra 3 has comeplted the quest Terrorweb Queen and is now WALKING BACK to chaos planes colecting agro on the way, to use later on to speed kill the four horsemen. here is a video taken from myy guide on terra tank to show how fast they die when done right.http://www.megavideo.com/?v=3Z8FORUC

Terra 2 , The Bone pits tera has also taken the quest Imprisoned Spirits.
and this terra tank does NOT kill the terroweb dryders that will spawn, but simply walks back to CHaos planes just like terra 3, collecting the agro to the terrowebs as he/she moves along, and enters the CHaos planes at around 18-20 minutes along with the pools terra.

By this time terra 1, the smites terra, has cleard around the monument in chas planes, and has the reaper up. as soon as terra 2 and 3 are in place, tera 1 takes The Four Horsemen quest, and serves as back up incase one terra tank gets shut down.

The main ursan group has LONG since comeplted Demon Asassin quest by now, and is waiting at the reaper in Twin Serpent Mountains with the finget on they YES button ready to port to planes if both terras get shut down.
In this case they all port to chaos planes, use RES SCROLL for speed, and imidiatley split up and defend the reaper and complete the quest.

this is not a builde per say- its a guide on how to clear uw, and the skill bars posted here are essential in order to understand the written guide. otherwise people might say stuff like "how is the sin supposed to take and complete
the quest at smites?

the actual skill bars are variations of common builds posted all over the place. the terra tanks for example, even thoug i made each of those bars personaly from scratch without any referance to pvx, that is nto to isay i "invented" a terra tank. I just simply posted my version of it in conjunction with the team build.

same with the asassins bar.

and the back line as well...

or people would wonder "how is only 1 monk going to keep everyone alive in hard mode?"

in light of the rest of the skil bars annd the tactics used you quickly realize that the splits make it so 1 monk only really has to focus on 4 people.

there are many ways to skin a cat, and this is simply a guide to how i like to clear UW with a 30 minute average time.

ther are subtle little tricks not im my guide, or video that speed you up in pools. here are some of them.
1)use I Am Unsoppable instead of Ward of stability.
-since this is a shout, you dont have to stop to cast it. even with rank 6 or so norn its sufficeint when timed right

2) Unless you have to fight several Charged Blackness, dont stop to cast stoneflesh Aura. if my tterra tank guide is folowed porperly, you will have the right gear and you wont take any damage from terrorwebs.

3)if you have them, use cupcakes and such. this stacks with cons and amounts to complete negation of teh "obby crawl"
the cupcakes are not necesary though, i have found a wonderful terra tank that is usualy on her way out of pools with the queen dead at around 16-19 minutes.She doesn't use cupcakes unless we are going for a record.

4) its all about experiance. knowing the patrols and when they will come.
i have done pools several times now with no ward at all and no cons(due to the failure of the other terra tank for one reason or another) and no one used cons untill the entire team was alive. i was only able to do this becaause of my familiarity with the area and not so much "leetnes"

i simply knew what was coming and when.Knowing this wil aid in my last tip:

5)DON'T STOP. never ever EVER. keep walking. the spawning poools is leteraly a walk in teh park. I make ony 2 stops. One for tha giganteous kill

well i do pug still in ToA however, I wrote this guide in hopes that many of you people out there would take this knowledge and run it in your guild.
There is nothing stopping you guys from froming an aliance group, and diong the learning curve. it can unite your guild into sometheng different to try!

When i do pug i usualy jsut clear the areas they ask me to clear, and watch them take an hour + on a run... sigh....but im always on the look out for players that are decent. pugs are how i make friends.When im serious and wanna "rock this place" i open up the f list and get pple. So its not hard to get in the same team with me, how ever that wont garantee it will be a true speed clear.I may be pugglin just like the rest.

Great team setup, im currently trying to learn Terratanking... but why would you put in [Arcane Echo] in the first Build? The only reason why I can imagine is to echo [Sliver Armor] so that one foe will be spiked down faster. Have you tested this build with [Churning Earth] instead as a second AoE skill to compliment Lava Font instead?

I know that the secondary part of churning (knockdown) will probably not be met, but it is a good skill to cast just before you turn around and do the Terracrawl back to the grouped up mob you have pulling. By the time you have crawled back and cycled through all the recasts it should be back up and recharged for a second round of flying rocks.

EDIT:

Have you ever thought of bringing either a;

N/Mo with [Spiteful Spirit][Insidious Parasite][Mark of Pain][Barbs][Blood ritual][Retribution][Holy Wrath][optional](the optional skill being a res of your choice).
The smiting bit would be for the chaos plains as the Terras can be pre bonded to cause additional Smiting damage as the necro will be constantly interrupted anyways.

or as a modification maybe a N/Me with;
[Spiteful Spirit][Insidious Parasite][Mark of Pain][Barbs][blood ritual][Mantra of resolve][Signet of lost souls][Sunspear Rebirth Signet]

you need the usual +1+3 earth and also a +2 air and +1 energy storage rune.

Apart from that I bring a full Geomancer insignia armor and the caster weapon witha +10AR/+45HP^enchanted shield

That works perfectly, as you can use the glyph to charge Obsiflesh and Sliver armor. AS foes in HM always move faster that usual, churning earth will also knock them down as soon as they try to run out of the aoe which keeps everythign balled up nicely for you (the skill will run out before they get up which cancles the AoE fleeing script)

ok forst of all there is a reason for EVERYthing in ech bar.

yes lavafont. not churning earth. and armour of earth fails. you dont need it.
read the other guide on terra tnaking and you will better understand my reasons.
if you want to post your terra tank build and feel its better, then write yor own guide.

in my terra tank i adress each of these questions. i explain why lava font over the others. and yes, i have tried several bars. there is nothing i havent tried. there is a reason i ue lava font and NOT armour of earth,OR churning earth, or crystal wave,or aftershock.. your not gonno show me anything new when it comes to tera tanks.

pleas keep my guide pure and on topic to clearing UW. and not a place to puromote your builds. go make your own thread for that.

as for that tarra tank bar.. ill kick your ass timewise with my bars.
any one of the terra tanks in my team wil kick your as timewise with thier bars.

Sorry for the harsh way i put it yesterday, i was kinda bitchy form work.
But my stance on the issue remains the same. The damage is done, so no use editing the post now. I could have thought of a softer way to put it.

I get soooo many pms in game! questions that have the answers in the guides i wrote.The very reason i wrote these guides is to answer these questions, and share with the comunity a MUCH more efficient way to clear UW for those that are interested.

so on that note, Please only ask me questions in game that arent answered in my guide. i wont answer quetions that my guides already answer, and those that persist with such questions end up on ignore.

Opps. wth? I really didnt mean to post that as a promotion of my build. Half of my post seems to have dissapeared at the beginning.

Im 100% sure that you can beat me at Tanking as I have only had my ele set up for that purpose since less than a week

What I actually wanted to know at the time why lava font and not a second earth damage skill... but the recharge makes it pretty obvious in the end with the DPS calculations.

Thanks for the link Shru. I guess I missed that in the OP the first time reading through and using "terra tank" in Gurusearch didnt help much at finding that thread.

i have ran with fooster and did the assiassin build and we did it in 24 min , i learned alot about the whole build , but have been in groups that replace the terra for pits witha assiassn also so 2 ass 2 terras
