Titles - The Most Tedious One You've Maxed
korcan
Considering the amount of people that seem to be maxing titles, I'm curious to know which titles were the most annoying/irksome/difficult for ya'll to max.
I don't consider myself a title hunter whatsoever, but of the 8 that I've maxed on various characters, [prot of tyria, cantha, all 3 skill hunters, spearmarshall, and lightbringer] I'd have to say that the most tedious for me was legendary skill hunter.
Of course the difficulty of LSH pales in comparison to others, but of the ones that i've maxed it was by far the most annoying.

Probably the cartographer titles. Whenever I vanquished an area, I had to spend between 10 and 45 minutes just slowly scraping the borders of the area to make sure I have every little scrap of map revealed. This also made the vanquisher title take a lot longer to acquire. It was also annoying having to do challenge missions to reveal the map.

Seeing as Ive only got 7 maxed titles, Id have to say... LB/SS... so many freaking runs across the sulphur. I never want to see another Graven Monolith again.
Esan
Incorrigible Ale Hound has been one of the most tedious. 10k minutes is nearly a week of doing nothing but clicking on a drink every minute. (Yes, you can speed it up by playing the zoning lottery, but my finances were tight after Sweet Tooth and Party Animal.)
The only ones that might beat IAH are the Kurzick/Luxon, Wisdom, Treasure Hunter, Lucky and Unlucky tracks, but I have no interest in finding out if they are worse. Fortunately, they are not needed for GWAMM.

Witchblade
I. Ale Hound, agreed... most annoying one
Shanaeri Rynale
Any title that requires siginificant amounts of money to max IMHO

Squishy ftw
Grandmaster Treasure Hunter.
Running the chests isn't that bad, but to me it's the selling of all those UNID golds so I can buy more lockpicks.

Konig Des Todes
Of the ones I have maxed/am maxing, Vanquishing is the most annoying. Mainly due to the fact that every now and then some lone monster is wondering somewhere and I have to find him.
Tyla
Legendary Guardian took quite some time for me. Because I was as slow as the tortoise.
Drop of Fear
luxon as it took almost an year, not rushing for it tho.
Steboy93
Out of the titles I have, probably a toss up between lb, ss, norn, asura and dwarf.
Vanquishing is so tedious I have yet to bother maxing any of them, and I never intend to do the monetary titles

Grandmaster Treasure Hunter (so far) was the most tedious to date.
The ones that I am working on are Lucky and Party Animal. The Party Animal is tedious because I can never find anyone selling points.
Lucky is just plugging away 250 points per retained lockpick

While farming the Z-keys for it is possible, it'll take a longggggggggggg time.

Allegiance (Luxon/Kurzick) - hands down. Any title that requires 10 MILLION points to max has to be the most repetitive and boring title of all, especially if you're unlucky enough to have found yourself in a Luxon guild, since Luxon farming is far slower than Kurzick.
After that, Cartographer...walking around area after area, outpost after outpost, mission after mission, scraping every wall, squinting at completed maps trying to find the 0.01% you're missing on that explorable...getting stuck on every outcropping of rock, every tree, root, etc. that ANet decided to allow to snag characters.... BO-ring.
Next is SS/LB - gotta agree with poster above - if I never see another Graven Monolith.....
Anything else PvE-based I haven't had any problems with so far.
Vanquishing, IMO, is fun, although I haven't hit any of the tougher missions yet in HM, so I can't really comment much on Guardian.
Party Animal, Ale-Hound, Sweets are all relatively simple if you know how to make money, and you can escape the boredom of the Ale-Hound title by simply quaffing 5 pts each time before you zone into an explorable - eventually, you'll get there. Working towards that title does NOT automatically entail sitting in one place for hours on end.
Asura, etc. will probably get old, too (like SS/LB), but I'm not nearly as worried about them, since the Hero's Handbooks and Dungeon Guides speed those titles tracks up immensely.
Lucky/Unlucky is easy. Buy a bunch of tickets. Park yourself on a Ring. Set yourself to "away." Go watch tv.
Can't comment at all on any of the PvP stuff at this time.

Legendary Master of the North
Vanquishing, Exploration, HM Dungeons + Missions all in one

Probably Vanqishing was the most tedious just because I spent the most time on it. And it got boring doing the same thing over and over again.
MarlinBackna
LB/SS and Norn, I think. Books take too long and after 3 max LB/SS, I refuse to do any type of point grind ,which is why I do books for Norn, although I must say that the dungeons are a good challenge with H/H, and they're purdy.
Richardt
I haven't maxed it yet, but Vanquisher of Tyria is fairly annoying. Several areas aren't linked to a nearby outpost, so either you got to plan ahead and do several areas (I recently got bored and did ToA to Yaks) or run through one or more areas.
Other than that I would say any of the money titles-Sweettooth, Drunkard, Party Animal etc.

Kurzick title: fff/hff runs over and over...

I have 16 maxed titles: 5xEotN titles, 4xskill hunter, 4xguardian, 3xprotector. I could never see myself doing the cartography titles, way too boring. The other ones I already hate is LB/SS farming. I'm currently level 6 and 9 and considering alternate methods of farming than the stupid worms.
The Red Messenger
each and every title i have attempted has been more tedious than the next.
my current most tedious: grandmaster treasure hunter
i'm sure the next title will be more tedious than this one tho (lucky/unlucky possibly)

zrank going by AB will take at least twice as long as kurz/lux to max, because there's no such thing as donation.

Legendary cartographer was pretty annoying. Atm proph skill hunter is pretty annoying cuz the monsters spawn randomly and are mostly located in the farthest corner lol.
Stranger The Ranger
Tyrian GMC
Without texmod

for me its probably Legendary Master of the North of the 11 I have maxed. Definetly not that hard.
PvP titles are only ones that take any form of skill to get however.

Grandmaster Treasure Hunter and Lucky (hit both at the same time); so tedious...

Kurzick. hfff might be easy, but staying awake is hard

Can't tell you how many times I woke up, saw Error 7, or a lag out, and literally punched my hand through the closest mudkip.
RedStar
Out of the 11 titles I have, the hardest were those that had something to do with Elona (except SS/LB because I'm having fun on those run xD).
For Elonian GMC I had to use textmod to get those last 2% from those walls...

I can definately agree that disconnects durring LDoA were very annoying, especially when it disconnects when you are still at the computer and are not able to reconnect, but I think that Treasure hunting is worse, though I will never get Legendary Vanquisher on another char. Just the name Joko's Domain sends shivers down my back.
Miss Puddles
tie between ss/lb and the gwen titles. thank god i never have to grind out handbooks again i was ready to shoot myself in the foot.

Grandmaster Treasure hunter, how I loathe thee. I don't actually have it yet, but it'll be the last title I need for GWAMM. Ale hound was bad but I found that I could drink while I was in town selling, or doing dungeons or fow or whatever, that made it not so bad. If you layer your hero window, inventory, and u map just right you can keep an eye on all of them and not clog up your whole screen. And after about 2000 minutes you work out a pretty good system for imbibing while doing missions and so on. But treasure hunter? ugh. run 10000 chests. I imagine ldoa can be tedious but for most of that you're afk death leveling charr, so it's kinda not as bad. And kurz/lux are fairly bad. Only about 1//4 of the way to max lux (2,250,000 points) and I can see that would be a grind. maybe not so much with the kurz fff. Basically most of the other titles you can buy, if you have unimaginable sums of money. Even zaishen. Yeah. treasure hunter. Bleh.
Malice Black
10k chests is dull. Best thing to do is not treat it as a 2nd job. Run 50-100 chests, and then do something else.
It's a lot easier if you're not in it for the cash too, as you can pick one of the small runs which yields 3 chests, and take ~5mins.

I've been going for Legendary Survivor without farming for a while now and I'm about 400k exp away from it at the moment. Failed about ten times so far, several of them being Indomitable. Kinda became an obsession after while so that I started beating the campaigns in order without unlocking the next continent until I beat the one I'm working on. Did Factions and Prophecies without heroes and I'm doing some random side quests in Vabbi at the moment.
I haven't even gone past the Norn and Ebon Vanguard quests in Eye of the North so far...
I still find it slightly enjoyable PuGing my way through all the storylines... Still, makes me wanna go punch something soft really hard whenever I lose it... I've stocked up plenty of runes of vitae and survivor insignias so that even if the lag monster attacks, the critters would go for the H/H first and leave me time to recuperate.

So far? Tyrian Vanquisher.
Let's say I won't bother chest running to 10k chests; I've chest-ran about 100 chests and got pretty bored.
Oh and I can't wait till I need to click on ales for Incorrigible Ale-Hound. Because clicking for half a hour on sweet points wasn't long enough. /sarcasm

Most tedious is LB/SS. There's only so many ways you can run the same path over and over before your brain shuts off. Luckily there were double points weekends so I could finsh the last 20k for my main and never have to do this again.
