Considering the amount of people that seem to be maxing titles, I'm curious to know which titles were the most annoying/irksome/difficult for ya'll to max.
I don't consider myself a title hunter whatsoever, but of the 8 that I've maxed on various characters, [prot of tyria, cantha, all 3 skill hunters, spearmarshall, and lightbringer] I'd have to say that the most tedious for me was legendary skill hunter.
Of course the difficulty of LSH pales in comparison to others, but of the ones that i've maxed it was by far the most annoying.
Titles - The Most Tedious One You've Maxed

Probably the cartographer titles. Whenever I vanquished an area, I had to spend between 10 and 45 minutes just slowly scraping the borders of the area to make sure I have every little scrap of map revealed. This also made the vanquisher title take a lot longer to acquire. It was also annoying having to do challenge missions to reveal the map.
Incorrigible Ale Hound has been one of the most tedious. 10k minutes is nearly a week of doing nothing but clicking on a drink every minute. (Yes, you can speed it up by playing the zoning lottery, but my finances were tight after Sweet Tooth and Party Animal.)
The only ones that might beat IAH are the Kurzick/Luxon, Wisdom, Treasure Hunter, Lucky and Unlucky tracks, but I have no interest in finding out if they are worse. Fortunately, they are not needed for GWAMM.

While farming the Z-keys for it is possible, it'll take a longggggggggggg time.
Allegiance (Luxon/Kurzick) - hands down. Any title that requires 10 MILLION points to max has to be the most repetitive and boring title of all, especially if you're unlucky enough to have found yourself in a Luxon guild, since Luxon farming is far slower than Kurzick.
After that, Cartographer...walking around area after area, outpost after outpost, mission after mission, scraping every wall, squinting at completed maps trying to find the 0.01% you're missing on that explorable...getting stuck on every outcropping of rock, every tree, root, etc. that ANet decided to allow to snag characters.... BO-ring.
Next is SS/LB - gotta agree with poster above - if I never see another Graven Monolith.....
Anything else PvE-based I haven't had any problems with so far.
Vanquishing, IMO, is fun, although I haven't hit any of the tougher missions yet in HM, so I can't really comment much on Guardian.
Party Animal, Ale-Hound, Sweets are all relatively simple if you know how to make money, and you can escape the boredom of the Ale-Hound title by simply quaffing 5 pts each time before you zone into an explorable - eventually, you'll get there. Working towards that title does NOT automatically entail sitting in one place for hours on end.
Asura, etc. will probably get old, too (like SS/LB), but I'm not nearly as worried about them, since the Hero's Handbooks and Dungeon Guides speed those titles tracks up immensely.
Lucky/Unlucky is easy. Buy a bunch of tickets. Park yourself on a Ring. Set yourself to "away." Go watch tv.
Can't comment at all on any of the PvP stuff at this time.
