any profession can kill the griffon. Either go P/RT or P/Necro
With the Rit use Spirits: Vamp, Bloodsong, Pain, and Anguish with Elite Sig of Ghostly Might and painful bond with maybe some energy gaining skills from paragon if there are some.....not very familiar with paragon skills.
With the Necro use minions: Aura of the Lich Elite or Animate bone minions and start gettin them up before the timer ends, then use blood of the master or veretas aura to keep them healed and barbs so they do extra dmg. then put in some skills for disease, bleeding, poison, etc which will help to degen and get him down faster.
Yes you may have to buy skills and/or a second profession. If you dont have the elite aura of the lich you can use animate bone minions and it does basically the same thing. just have to watch their health closer. Death novas is nice too if you dont want to watch the health.

Use Degen , Deep wound and Vampiric spirit ( secondary Rt ) . Easier if you carry EVA .... any way , if you interrupt the main piss off spirits its easy.

My MM defeated him so fast with a few minions to body block and rotting flesh and spiteful spirit. It ended very quickly.
Now my elementalist can't beat him, I tried firemagic, a mix of necro and fire, etc.. It had been a while since my necro fought him, I don't remember spirits, they might have buffed him up, IAU is a great skill for runners, so maybe they wanted to slow down the number of people with it?

No different - he's always been a spirit spammer. The reason you found it hard on your Ele is that, as mentioned many times in this thread, the easiest way to bring him down is as a Necro primary or secondary with [[Aura of the Lich] and [[barbs] and other nastiness.

I did Cold As Ice on my Dervish using just 1) Conjure Nightmare and 2) Conjure Phantasm. Just run forth to him, use it, run back, reapply as necessary, and lol.

i used a variant on the perma for sliver farmer.
i had the obv 3 and then radiation field, golden lotus strike, lotus strike, death blossom and shadow refuge with 12+1+3 in shadow arts, 12 dagger mastery and 3 critical with zealous daggers of enchanting with + 5 nrg

He's become a bigger pain in the ***. Boss+Spirits now means 0,5 casting time, almost unfair
