I don't see the point of remaking a guild though...you can change GH's, capes, etc. If it's the same name...it's pointless.

They won't give them the trim,the guild, or the gold because then they would have to for everyone else.

It's gonna take a while to "get back up there" when all of their matched last at least 25 minutes regardless of opponent.

Restoring a guild cape trim sounds alot different than restoring items and gold. Guild cape trims are non-transferrable? It would be the same as Anet restoring a Customized weapon, i doubt there will be serious QQ. I mean, what other guilds got disbanend with gold trims, if any, i doubt many.

But seriously, there have been a string of these breaches lately. It's sad to see that there are people out there with nothing better to destroy other people's work. I hope this high profile case will make Anet take a serious look at their account security protocols.

meh, it sucks. But like ekelon (sp) said its a game, they've gotten over it. I can't see anet giving them their cape back at all.

Some guilds weren't awarded their silver capes anyway, so who's to say rawr recieved their 5th cape yet :P

if they do remake i hope they at least get a gold cape

Because not every guild has won 5 monthly's, does promotional stuff for Anet to keep the game alive, and get sponsorships.

Thats just a few reasons.

Anet wouldn't be reverting accounts, they'd simply be recreating Rawr and maybe restoring the trim. That's not anywhere near the level of restoring lost items/gold/plat/titles to a player.

They just earned a gold cape over the weekend, they should be allowed to get that back(or whatever color cape they were supposed to get).

As for rank, I really think its a trivial thing. [rawr] might actually enjoy being absent from obs mode for a bit, as it will be harder to scout them.

They were on for platinum cape, something that can only be achieved within a MINIMUM of 5 months work.
Now tell me it's ok for the guild to be gone and say don't worry if they're that good they'll get it back.

Maybe Anet/NCSoft will finally realise that they can't allow their security vulnerabilities remain this way. Sometimes a high profile case helps get fingers out of butts.

We can probably expect these security changes in 2016.
