Oh, and when my friend(Who started when I did) and I found out about 55 Monks, we thought of them as gods lol. Lol, not sure why you'd need it on a Mesmer, Fast Casting is pretty useless in PvE on a 1/4th cast spell! |

Strange, in the early days mindless stuff was fun.

50k Superior Vigors ftw!
Kapral
My necro was my first char and I read about Spiteful Spirit so that was the first. Then I changed to a Ranger and heard about the Splinter Barrage so Barrage was my next one.
Turbobusa
I used to run grenth balance all the time because I sucked with agro and alesia... was the object of all the rants. It saved me a bunch of time until I swapped to OoB for blood spiking (yeah I still sucked but it's not like we had a lot of good elites and I didn't feel like spamming SS)

My fav elite was OoB. Practically infinite energy for my blood build. That build sucked balls. I then found the power of SS, and never went back.
GourangaPizza
[skill]Quick Shot[/skill]. Back then machine gun Ranger was quite epic before Nightfall was released.
cosyfiep
my ele loved water trident (got it just about the time the nerfed fire storm) and then
spiteful spirit!!! still in use on my necro today.

Ahh, back in the day I loved Hundered Blades, I thought I was a killing machine. Good times...
Arlan
[Shield Of Regeneration] - which i still roll out every now and again for a laugh.
alen
Life transfer. On a ranger. Also Mark of Protection.
NoXiFy
[lod] lod was my only elite... caught it on my necro. xD
Yawgmoth
I've used many elites in the beta times but it was the first one I capped after release - [Ether Renewal] Ether Renewal, which I've instantly fell in 'love' with. I used it almost everywhere, as the elite in various ele builds (in PvE, it was months before E/Mo imbasmiters). It was superpowerful when it lasted 10(+20%) seconds and gave 4 ene per enchant, restored a full mana bar thanks to spammable skills (I always had at least one).
It was the number 1 favorite elite of mine, for a long time.
ah the noob times
Then after nerf (7sec and +3ene) I still used it in various solofarm builds, even used it in one build in 2007, until LS update when solofarming became pointless and never used it since then...
...untill now. When I saw the megabuff update notes my jaw literally dropped, and remained this way for quite a while.
It would be very playable at a fixed duration of 10, like in the old days, they went way too far with it.
Knowing well what this skill can do I now demand a mighty nerf for it (and for some other obviously imba PvE skills)

Maximumraver
Shield Of Regeneration on my ele... lol
Alex the Great

Hundred blades when you could cap it from Gorgan Hatemonger in the Breach. First elite I got on both of my warriors. I loved it because it was the ONLY mass-attack skill available for Swordsmanship...and it hit TWICE! I know now that it would be much better if it were off of adrenaline, but a zealous sword can make up the 5e easily. Too bad there are better swords elites out there.
Taisayacho
On my para: [incoming] lolz. Before the nerf.
Ranger: [burning arrow] and I still love it.
Two first characters were made almost simultaneously

My necro played a Blood Magic build for a long, long time until I discovered Curses.
So I was totally a vampire with [Life Transfer]. I remember being afraid of using it also, because of its recharge
"look I make enemies' bars purple and gain health! "

Rhaegor Stormborn
I started about a month ago and the two best elites I have gotten so far (out of 5 total) are Word of Healing and Ethereal Renewal.
