Shadow Art Runes missing from trader?

Has any1 noticed that you can't buy any shadow arts runes from the rune trader? or is it just me?

And has it always been this way??? if so why???

All being bought out by people running the a/e uw solo run since the sf update I assume.

Yup, people have just been buying them crazy. I sold one for 10k the other day, lol.

Thanks to easy perma SF-> demand > supply of shadow arts runes.

yeah- the trader only can give you what he has, so if he has none, you're out of luck.

Glad I still have one from the old Assassin Green Farming days.

If runes are "missing", can you still sell them back to the trader?

Always thought that supply was unlimited, except the price would just increase as ppl purchased more of em =/

yea i just got me a rune off another player for 10k, and they sell @ the trader for 850g lol

Sure, why wouldn't it be possible. The trader only sells the Runes other people sell to him.

and have 100k shadow runes? that'd be fun..

I have 5 on a mule I'll wait for them to peak before selling.

Which brings me to a suggestion I've made a gazillion times: have merchants never be sold out. What's the point in stuff being sold out? Runes and insignia's should also have a max price at the traders, like, say 5k.
The same day the build was introduced, Superiour runes were already gone, The day after, even Major runes were out of stock, I just managed to get one for 150g or so. Now they're all gone, and players can ask whatever they want for one. That's rubbish.

It's called supply and demand. The trader should run out, it keeps the market active.

I have 3 mules full of every rune/insignia, so I'm sorted. Forward planning is key

imo every armor and weapon mod should be infinitely available to everyone from npc traders. the fact that someone might have to run less than optimal mods on their weapon because they cant find any people selling them or less than optimal runes/insignias because npcs are sold out doesnt make any sense to me.
something like the j menu with prices on everything for pve would be very good for the game imo.

OK, being as this going into Trader info, how come I cannot sell my rune of minor vigour to the trader? He says he won't buy it. Looks like it is selling for almost 2k at the moment as well.

Is that true? Never had that happen to me before... strange.

i got lucky and managed to get a sup from the trader where it suddenly appeared when i was browsing runes. but it was gone again literally 3 seconds after i got mine. the way i see it there are a few ways to get a sup shadow rune:

- get lucky at trader like me
- farm runes
- buy at spamadan for some ridiculous price
- have a generous friend that has one
- take it off a hero (who uses sin heroes anyway?)

He probably has enough already. Sometimes they do refuse to accept runes/insignias. Minor vigor is very common. I use to get anywhere between 1-5 a day.

i tried this. unfortunately my sin heros were unable to find a sup shadow rune at the trader either.
like you said, i dont use sin heros, why would they have sup shadow runes on them

Minor vigor rune that is quest reward in NF quest is unsellable to trader.
