But more on topic, last night i saw the favor drop to 888 minutes.. Hopefully it will run out again. But the thing is, people dont see that when it does, we will get it back... Its not like gone forever, it's just gonna take a bit longer to get partys ready.

And maybe this will make the "Elite" missions Eg. Urgoz, The Deep, DoA and the supposedly elite EoTN dungeon a bit more popular.

Just stop worrying about ectos and scrolls.. Its only a tiny insignificant part of the game, theres more to GW than farming ectos till your eyeballs drop out

I personally hate passage scrolls and this never ending favor. Elite areas are elite for a reason. Only been able to get in if you are a dedicated player willing to wait around for favor is how it should be.

Bloody hell, I sold two at the trader when I had them drop, for roughly 300G each last week. I was thinking of saving them but thought no.

Don't get the dedicated and waiting part. If you are dedicated, you would own Halls to get favor, then enter those Elite Areas. Not leeching off of the people doing all the work.

Anet will probably just add Ursan 2.0 to the game, which will also give Lucky/Unlucky points when you kill stuff and adds to sweetooth, Drunkard and party Animal when using skills

This was the paradox I never understood. When people complained about the lack of favor, trolls would say "lik OMG go pwn hOh and getz favor!11!11!"

But.. if you're busy holding Halls, how are you supposed to go to the Underworld?

This weekend will NOT see an explosion of favor minutes. There are not many people (comparatively) anywhere near close to maxing (un)Lucky and maxing party points does not add favor minutes.

The running down of favor will cut down on the A/E being able to farm ectos and will send it back up maybe... maybe not lol

And why everyone thinks there will be a double LB/SS weekend again? Was it stated by them? Aren't those the two titles more easily achieved (less than 10 hours for SS sigh)? They implemented new stuff on their systems and want to see if it resets at 65,534 minutes?

Forgive my ignorance, but isn't favor useless now that you can switch to any district freely?

Where have you been? Favor isn't based on region anymore.

I've already predicted the next Sunspear/Lightbringer Double Weekend to occur the third weekend in August. Let's see how good I am in predictions...

Even if favor runs out, then the titles are still coming and we will have an extended period of "on and off" favor, much like we had in the past. Just because the community can't sustain permanent favor does not mean it cannot sustain ANY favor.

Considering the average Pug failure rate of the UW and FoW runs, the question is whether people can break-even in the first place. Being the first to activate the conset without sharing its cost is a dangerous gamble and peoples' reluctance to just activate it is growing.

The more this happens, the more other farming targets will get popular again.

Eh, a little bit of a favour drought would do a lot of the ecto farmers some good. I have a nice little nest-egg, and several of my guildies have farmed a stack for themselves, and a rise in prices would be sexy to say the least.

When it gets down to 0 that is it unless more players start achieving leganday something and it will take some time to regian all up to 2000 mins.Then there is farming scrolls in HM some where.Those other Elite places you can get ferries for those nice isn't it.

We could always revert to the old Favour system where you have to wait for who holds the Halls or wins it.

Then it would just be all the other farmers' playground again

No Favor-->Less People in Elite Areas--->Less Ecto drops---->Less ectos sold to trader--->Higher Ecto prices?

I mean eventually, of course, might take a while to happen, if ever. To be honest, i'm not 100% sure if that's how it works.

We haven't had LBSS since January, so I'd say we're due for another one before the end of the year. That'd take care of the favor problem *g*
