Opinions On Guild Wars Bonus Mission Pack
Molock
Its worth the $10 for the Tengu staff alone
I got it from the bonus offer but if I hadn't I am sure I would of ended up buying it.

I made 3 times D'Alessio to get some Mursaat skinned weapons and that's about it. On the other I didn't pay for it... Bought EoTN from onlinestore -_-

I don't have the BMP myself (at least not yet)... but from what I've heard from others, it's definitely worth $10... if not for the skins, then for the content/cinematics/story.

Meh, seeing that you could get GW:EN for a while there for $10 at Target, I would relatively say that the BMP wasn't really worth the price.
Don Doggy
Yes the BMP is most certainly worth it giving access to some of the best weapon skins in the game.
Yawgmoth
Overpriced.
I got it for 'free', because I bought my EotN in online store wanting to have it immediately at release. But I wouldn't spend $10 on it.
Compared to a full game or expansion pack at $40 BMP isn't 1/4th worth of content, it isn't even 1/10th of a full expansion content. It's the curse of microtransactions - the smaller the content piece the more you will have to overpay for it.
And weapons... for all those who like buying ingame items for real $$$ they're fantastic, they all have excellent design and top quality double texture resolution compared to almost all other weapons in game.

So I thought about it for a night. In retrospect, the BMP blows pretty hard. Guess we can't all be pleased.

It's fun for a couple of hours, after that, there's nothing left to discover in the missions and you'd likely never play them again.
KycooGhost
I've done all discoveries on it and now I only play it if i need a new wep for heros or for a new character I make. I love the skins and the cut scenes are great. They told us that when it was being made they wanted to take concept art and put it right into the game instead of making it fir the situation so much. So in my opinion its worth every bit.

Depends on how skimpy you are with your money I think. If you feel $10 is a small fee and you can blow it then go ahead and blow it on this. It's fun for a few hours and if you want, unlimited nice-looking gold weapons. The discoveries will net you a good bit of gold as well, should you choose to do them all. Personally, I liked it and choosing between two MickeyD's meals and this, I would pick this again.
I loved finally getting to use Giant Stomp instead of being on the receiving end!

That was fun, yes. Not to mention the implicit "yes, we acknowledge and endorse D-Slash spamming".

I dislike the solo portion of the BMP -- I'd much rather be playing along with my girlfriend or other guildies rather than solo. There is very little content for the money -- compare EoTN and it's replayability even at the original $50 selling price and it is very easy to see that the BMP does not measure up. I received the BMP through the promotion, but if I had to buy it knowing what I know now I wouldn't.

I personally did not enjoy it too much. I don't like that everything was for a solo character. Anet is confused and thinks we like to solo for fun and has not figured out that we solo for maximum gold production. I thankfully got it for free by buying GWEN online, so don't really care. But If I had paid for it I would be pretty disapointed.

Many people (like myself) are cheap. I buy things in a cost/benefit anaylsis. I have gotten over 4000 hours out of ~$180 worth of GW products.
The BMP is $10 for around 7 hours...

The BMP is one of the oddest things ever in an MMO:
The player does not use his own character
The player does not progress
The player is not playing with other players
The player does not choose his own skills
There is no loot directly from monsters
And yet nobody seems to be bothered the least by it (bothered in the sense of 200 pages of flame and hate, community criticism is very mild there; the real BMP flame happened but was all about not being able to buy it outside the promotion). It's really fun to play and the 40 different weapons come in handy when you need to equip your heroes. The BMP is worth its money, no doubt about it and most players would not be unhappy if this sort of mission would be around in GW2. Without every story aspect requiring the heroics of the player, the BMP characters come to life even more. Especially Saul went from a rather *meh* guy into somebody I really want to see more of.

I agree with 4thVariety, what bothers me the most is that the community embraces this type of add-on or whatever we want to call it.
I cannot really say I would like to see more it in GW2. Even more one-time throwaway content with even less replay value than the current GW areas/dungeons? 10$ for one/more item skins? This is scary.
I would like to call it the BMP craze. Everyone wanted to get it so hard, all the fuss about it... and now I really wonder who even bothers to ever do one of the missions again after he got his fave skin.

I got it free and would never pay money for it. You're talking 2 hrs of content. The concept is cool, and the missions are as well but 20 mins? Not worth the money and I don't use any of the weapons..
BlackSephir
Unless you're a skin w**re then no.
