The mini Polar Bear didn't return. Why would it? There is only supposed to be holiday drops and the snow ball arena. No quests and and no collector NPC's(besides the gift givers at the arena outpost).

Normal mode here. But the drop rate is dreadful. Have around 30 each snowman, fruitcake and eggnog... but only 2 tonics.

And yes, that seems to be the idea imprinted. minimal efforts GW1, maximise effort in GW2.
So....if GW2 turns out bad, they failed.

Just looked on official wiki, says there is no everlasting one for frosty gg. You have to look on the frosty tonic page itself to see what I am talking about, so guess there isnt one.

Because no one has found it yet? The wiki isn't just run by ANET. Most of the info on the wiki is player input. So, if players have yet to find an everlasting version, then the wiki has yet to have info on said tonic.

The only way a page on an everlasting Frosty tonic will come to pass is if:
  • A player finds one and posts it, and has confirmation from others.
  • ANET posts it as official, and you can see that from the article history tab.

Before the polar bear fiasco I tried to collect all the holiday items. Now I stopped caring because it basically is not skill based anymore (i.e. from quests like the gingerbread and peppermint stuff was). It's all "grind til you find it".

It does follow that this would be next on the tonic bottle shape, they seem to have used all 3 existing shapes once each so far, and the frosty tonic matches the shape of the first which suggests they would go in cycles.
