Ever sell or buy something and basically get a "steal" (not literally of course)? Like you got such a good deal you were surprised? I got two of those so it sparked the idea for this thread. If one already exists I apologize, didn't see one.

I bought an Urgoz's Longbow for 50k plus a Forgotten Longbow (same stats, ugly skin in my opinon). The buyer asked for 80k and at the time the Forgotten Longbow was worth 30k and I had 50 cash, so that added up to 80k and he took it.

Today I sold The Ice Breaker. The buy out price was 5k but the person said they didn't have that. Instead they paid me with 2 ectos, and since I will never have FOW armor I used those to get the rest of my superb Charr carvings for my Mo Zing mask.

What about everyone else?

Cant recall perfectly but a Skeleton Shield that was like Req 8 +30 and -2 stance, bought for 2k and sold for well over 700k. .

My best bargain: A shitload of Flask of Firewater at 280g-320g each(during some festival). Sold half of it a few weeks after the festival for 450-500 each.

When the Zaishen title was introduced, I tried to buy everyones firewater and creme brulees that they got from the chest for very cheap. Got around five stacks of the stuff and sold it later on for nearly double the price I bought it for =)

Ran a guy from Gunnar's Holdto Olafstead. The price we set up was 1k, he had 15k in his inventory and didn't bother cutting it into 1k so he shoved it all into trade and accepted

That guy made my day hehe.

bought gold r12 insc crystalline for 80e (worth about 130-150e), bought r13 eternal blade for 200e (worth about 230-240e), and 4 tormented weapons for 20-30e each (worth about 45-55e each) not too long ago.
i dont normally resell things, but im sure i got a good deal and could make a bit off of them if i resold now, but i <3 them too much.
example of when i did resell something: i bought a r9 strength darkwing for 20k in october, resold for 100k or 100k+20 the next day.

i sold a collector carapace shield for 90k way back when i first started the game, i showed the buyer the shield and said offer.. they said 90k to my surpise and i couldn't refuse even though i knew it was worth virtually nothing :S

my biggest bargain was definetly buying a q7 45/-2 ench shield for 100k+ 5 e if i remember right and selling it for ~ 400k, that must have been 18months - 2 years ago.. i wonder how much that would be worth now ;O

Not a bargain,but i once sold a guy a caster elemental sword, req 9 for 100+45 when there were worth it.... he actually got the better end of the deal.

after that, i started speaking to the guy and he's one of the greatest guys i've ever played with.

His friendship was the best bargain i ever got.
