On the Thanksgiving weekend, I nearly doubled my 600k by power trading sweets and booze

got a unded bone dragon for 2k in shing jea, sold for 70k
unded lich for 25k in LA, sold for 75k
another unded lich for 45k, sold for 70k
unded gwen for 100k, sold for 100+8e

the only way i get my cash is through power trading.
1) some guy wuz selling random golds, got a voltaic spear q11 from him off for 5k

2) trading my mini destroyer for an armbrace, 1 day after the mini dest came out.

3) buying numerous gemstones (titan, margonite etc) for 1K ea from some dude

4) the best was a req8 gloom shield uninsc, -5/20% +30hp for only 20k.. and 20k because it was "dyed black"

When the Asura minipets first came out, I sold one to someone for 120 ecto. I didn't even have to bargain with him. That was his first offer.

got a deldrimor flatbow for 2k.

one week prior, got a deldrimor long bow for a dedicated wallow.

This was about a month after Deldrimor weapons came out.

Sometime in March I was vanquishing when someone shouted in AC that they're having a bank sale. I asked, "what items?". He then proceeded to list a pile of crap BUT there was an eternal blade mixed in there!

I mapped out of my vanquishing to his GH. Bought the req 11 eternal blade for 10k.

I swear. I would not take 3 mins of my life to make a lie on a forum for a broken game.

R10 Eternal Blade for 100k+60e, sold 5 min later for 100k+75e, which was the avarage price back then when they were still dropping like brulees from the z-chest..

Probably in pre, when the "gold spree" was on, and i got a req7 sword for 100k, and i could sell it now for... a lot.

I was looking for a plain-old req.9 15^50 Hornbow a year or two ago. Someone PM's me and I trade with them.

He leaves with 7k. I leave with a then-400k+ Mursaat-skin Hornbow.

Back when Chaos Axes were valuable... Bought a r8 15% -10 Chaos for around 200k in game and sold it for 875k in auction. Dude originally wanted 100k and a couple of ectos for the axe, but 1 real or imaginary person bid it up 200k. Glad he didn't have more money to bid with.

That was how I went from poorish to joining the gw middle class.

The two best bargains I can recall would be:

Getting a perfect Tactics Zodiac Shield (20/20, 15^50, +30) and a mesmer green staff for free from a friend.

Buying 5 1st/2nd year mini pets(all undedicated) for 1k.

Bought a req 9 15^50 Celestial sword for 10k when factions first came out sold for 100k+15e later on.

Idd those stats on shield are rare!
