also i havent seen many sins in RA lately so i havent seen the aftercast in action, but it takes generally 0.25 sec to react, then guardian's 1 sec cast vs. the 0.50 seconds remaining on the aftercast delay... i bet you could fit in a GPS and HotO in 0.50 secs with an IAS. (i would want to see maths before i admit that this could be wrong.)
Daggers
Hammers

Daggers = 1.33 seconds
Hammers = 1.75 seconds

A common IAS of 33% added into the mix... (Not sure on the approximate numbers here)

Daggers = 0.88
Hammers = 1.06

Shadowstep = 0.75 aftercast
Common reflex = 0.25

So it's possible to fit a Guardian with IAS skills involved, on both counts. Not possible if there isn't a shadowstep or it's an instantanious shadowstep. (Shovesin can still do this, so you can't pop up a Guardian unless you guess correctly, but you can't fit an IAS in properly)

I have absolutely no problem using [skill]Shadow Walk[/skill] and use it in conjunction with [skill]Iron Palm[/skill]. This bypasses the attack skill disablement and provides KD. I normally bring [skill]Assassin's Promise[/skill] for the hex.

shadow steps were broken when they were introduced, they've been broken since they were introduced, and they've finally be 'fixed' although the fix isn't what I would have liked (axing it into hell), this fix is fine. You shouldn't be able to remove an aspect of the game (positioning) that easily.

As I stated in my post, I voted "remove aftercast" simply because there is no "Other, please discuss" option and it was the only one that fit what I would like to see happen.
