Perhaps the reason that this "big news" isn't being discussed anywhere is because the information you have is wrong.

I guess you're referring to the following live chat from last weekend, where I say that we do not currently have plans to add more heroes:

It was probably a typos, and she meant to say "Do not have plans...

That being said, I did kinda hope a little for more heroes apart from MOX...

meh, a million different types of heroes would be un-entertaining after a little bit, to say the least, i'd rather they spend more time on new quests/missions/elites/areas than yet another stupid npc to put in my party, i mean don't get me wrong, i don't agree with the fact that there's not 3 of every class available as a hero, and that you can't have 7 heroes, but the obvious reasons behind these limitations are there and really shouldn't be argued, cause that's kinda like saying "i demand you to break your game", cause seriously, if you could have three paras, gg.

Am I the only one here who is looking forward to MOX?
I hate kahmu. And a second orders derv would be cool for my SY sin. Although my main question about mox is why Dervish? It is hard hard to imagine how it works. Maybe Warrior or Paragon would of been a better choice for him. Especially because Paragons are "Expert at protection".
Might not be the most effective or sensible hero, but looks unique and fun to mess around with. Best of all, yet another statue for HoM XD

on the contrary, i dig the hell outta any new (it being free helps too) content, i mean hell, they coulda turned off the lights a long time ago and the stars coulda been shining three years ago and just now making it to gw, they could have even downed the servers, but they didn't and not only are they still supporting it but also adding new crap, which is boom-diggity imo, i mean yes, i'm very opinionated and would have preferred something other than a derv, like another elite mission, but that's just because i'm a picky consumer, but unlike a majority of people i'm not going to let that put a damper on the fun that i will get out of what they DO make as an addition

Mox can be added to your Hall of Monuments. Just go there with the Hero to get the unlock. Also, Mox has no special Hero armor (though it does look really awesome in Avatar form).

But instead of the human it would be mox and instead of the samurai it would be the avatar. Kinda like neros deviltrigger in dmc4.

Yes, I am frequently amazed at people who still think that ANet, for no reason at all, will give us another free "Sorrows Furnace-sized" content update. I disagree. She did damage control. After the fact. Nothing more. If she were marketing MOX as a little bonus for everybody, then they would have announced it before the milk was spilled. Marketing is supposed to generate excitement, not put out fires.

No you are not, I am looking forward to any new hero, but I have a thing for setting up builds and equipment, I kind of go overboard too (track builds and equipment on a spread sheet). I like to do FoW and UW with 6 heroes (second account) so I can use more heroes then the average player.
